Been here twice, very satisfied both times. The staff is friendly, the location is unique, and the hotel restaurant serves excellent food. The rooms have windows overlooking the Tinee valley, giving you the feeling of sitting in mid air, as they are located at the outer edge of the Roure village. The rooms themselves are clean, fresh, and modern yet...

I don't need to write a long review here going into small details. Quite simply this place is outstanding. The view from the restaurant and from the bedrooms is like nothing I have ever seen before. The food was the best that we experienced in the whole time we were in France. The welcome from the owners was great. This...

After an amazing drive with alot of turns you are warmly welcommed by the owners. We had a nice room with a very nice bathroom. No TV, but why watch TV when you are in a place like that. As there are no restaurants in the village the auberge filled the gap themselves. They have 2 excellent menus and a...

I was searching for somewhere away from the fray for the end of 10 days on the Cote d'Azur, and my husband found the Auberge Le Robur on Google Earth. What a discovery! The Auberge is in a tiny mountain top village at the end of a one lane road that takes you up four kilometers of twists and turns...

The Auberge exudes charm as does Roure, the quaint village where it is located. The view from the restaurant and our room was absolutely magnificent. The adorable young couple, Pauline and Christophe Billau, who manage the hotel could not have been more personable and helpful. Pauline speaks English very well which was great for us and Christophe is an amazing...
