If you want to be within easy travel distance of Nelson, Abel Tasman National Park, and Golden Bay this is the place to stay. The Studio is huge and has all the facilities you need. The hosts are wonderfully welcoming.

Very nice room and tastefully decorated. Executive quality bathroom and shower. Lynne and Peter were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Choose between a hot breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon; or continental breakfast with cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, and toast. Both were great. Located in a very nice and exclusive area of Mapua. We really enjoyed the stay

I stayed for three nights during a business trip to Nelson. I found the hosts, Pete and Lynne, to be friendly and approachable. The room was excellent and the breakfasts yummy. Great view over the hills towards the sea. I even watched a cruise ship leaving on one evening. The bed was extremely comfortable with nice morning sun.

It's fully 8 months since we enjoyed the good fortune to choose Mapua Hills but as we plan another trip to NZ I am motivated to recall their excellent hospitality. At the time my wife was ill and we had ignored doctors advice in flying more than 20 hours to Auckland. By the time we arrived at Mapua we very...

Lynne and Peter (owners of the Mapua Hills B&B) have only been in the B&B business for less than three years, but you would think they have been hosting guests for many more years. Lynne greeted us in her driveway and showed to our room (more on that later). Peter, fresh from caring for the grounds, extended his greetings and...

Thank you Greg and Janet for your fabulous review. It made us feel proud. It was a pity you couldn't have stayed longer to enjoy our peaceful setting and views . You are right- Mapua is a good place to base yourself for exploring the Nelson/ Tasman region. Thanks again .

Lynne is a charming, helpful and patient hostess. We stayed in the guest room for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lynne was happy to book trips and restaurants for us, in fact nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and your choice of cooked food. This is a fantastic place to stay to explore...

We had a great stay here, 3 very comfortable nights in the studio, which is spacious and beautifully appointed. The views are spectacular. Lynne and Pete, hosts, were friendly and helpful, a pleasure to chat with, and gave us excellent information about local wineries and sights to visit. The cacti flowered during our stay, amazing! This is a lovely spot,...

Lovely warm welcome from host Lynne. Great location, views and so relaxing. We stayed in the studio unit which was very well appointed, spotlessly clean, warm and private. Delicious home cooked breakfasts.
