We stayed 1 night with Betty and Rob, incl dinner. The room is small and basic, shower and toilet are shared - so be aware about this. 2 showers for 9 rooms. It was a perfect stop to Oslo. The diner was very nice and prices for drinks are very reasonable. Breakfast was good, yoghurt, bread, muesli, juice etc. A... More

I stayed at Furulund guesthouse for one night. I had a single room with shared bathroom, the room was nice and clean, and the shared bathroom as well. Dinner and breakfast was nice and tasty. If I find my way back to Ron, I will for sure stay at Furulund again.

Travelling with two children we found this hotel perfect for us. We stayed one night in the family room which consists of two double rooms set together. The rooms are big and celan with sinks, and plenty of storage room. Bathrooms and toilets are shared, but this really did not bother us, as the facilities were really celan and spacious.... More

Very nice and friendly couple hosting in marvellous surroundings. All over you have a feeling of being seen and welcomed in an atmosphere of your childhood visits to Grandma. Need and clean all over. Stylish room with a good bed. Full of character and trendy in its own way if you like the 1950'es.

Betty and Rob are extremely friendly and helpful. They made our trip so much easier and fun for us because of their wealth of information and knowledge of the area. The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was really substantial and made for a good start to the day. We had two three-course dinners there in the evenings and both... More

Just the basics but nice basics. Rob and Betty are there to serve and they do a very nice job. No frills - a basic room with a basic bed and basic arrangements. For Norway the value is five stars but for normal travel it's a three. A good continental type breakfast with cereal, an egg, toast, meats and cheese.... More

Very hartly reception and personal care. Very stylish cosy rooms, great atmosphere in a marvelous surrounding. Sorry that we could not taste the restaurant food because we arrived to late and had forgotten to accept the offer by email.

We enjoyed our very short stay en route from Bergen to Oslo. The rooms are charming, clean and have great comfy beds. Our family room (2 + 2 beds) was perfect for us. The entire hotel has a cosy and friendly nostalgic touch. Food was very good as well. We would love to come back, but Norwegian prices don't make... More

If you like an "old-style" hotel (shared showers and toilets), go there; if you like a quiet corner of the Norwegian country, go there; if you like gourmet cuisine, you HAVE to go there. You could never pay the kindness and hospitality of Betty and Rob! Consider that, in my family opinion, the restaurant was granted with "Our 2012 holidays... More
