Probably the best hotel in the entire "Carinthian statistical region". Service is good, each of the 4 stars is well deserved. The staff is polite, helpful and always trying to satisfy guests' needs. But keep in mind that the hotel is primarily oriented to business guests with (slightly) different needs than "ordinary" travelers' ones.
Unfortunately the location in the Šentjanž industrial zone, although quiet, is indeed terrible. Personally I don't mind at all that southwards looking rooms offer a "great" view of an ugly industrial object made of rusty plate iron. It is much more terrible that it is located near an intersection of 3 important regional roads, typically with dense traffic, incl. loads of heavy trucks and it is virtually impossible to get anywhere without a car. For instance, Dravograd could well be just a pleasant 2 km walk from the hotel if only there was an alternative to a busy road without a sidewalk, making walking and cycling at least unpleasant if not even dangerous. While there actually is an alternative road to Šentjanž, walking this road through the industrial zone and yet again without a sidewalk is not a pleasant experience neither.
As of 2020, the hotel seems to be rather inconvenient for cyclists. When asking about storing of guests' own bikes it became very obvious they didn't have such a room, instead they offered some alternative "solutions", e.g. storing bikes in a dining room (!?!). If you bring your bike (or rent it), the location provides an excellent connection to the "Štrekna" cycling trail in Šentjanž, allowing to explore the entire Mislinja Valley easily. Unfortunately, due to previously mentioned dense traffic roads, the hotel's location is much less convenient for exploring the other parts of Carinthia.

The hotel is easy to get to with Google maps, there is parking right in front of the hotel and an extra parking area in front of that so you shouldn’t have any issues with parking. I get the impression that this place is a restaurant first and hotel second, the restaurant waiting staff are also the hotel staff, so if the restaurant is busy you may have to wait at the reception desk for someone to come to you if you need anything or need to check in.
The rooms are across 2 floors and are actually a nice size with lots of space. When you enter you have a small corridor with a large wardrobe leading into the bathroom, the actual bedroom is off the corridor and has a flat screen tv, ‘double’ bed (2 singles pushed together), work table and chair as well as a small table and lounge chair, although the lounge chair wasn’t that comfortable to lounge in. I was very disappointed to see that there is no tea or coffee making facilities, although there is a mini bar. I was also surprised to see that instead of a binder with hotel information, there was a book stating Hotel Rules which did have quite strict rules – from a customer service perspective, the same message could have been communicated in a better way, although maybe it was lost in translation
There were radiators in the bathroom and a vent in the bedroom but no heating, cooling system that you could control yourself, the window does open so you are able to cool the room and the hotel is off the busy road so if you do have the window open through the night there is no issue with road noise, although you might hear a passing train. The bathroom is a good size with a bath/shower. There isn’t a lot of room around the sink for toiletries, but there is a shelf above the toilet. The shower is good with great pressure and hot water whenever you need it, the only thing is that it is a high step into the bath/shower and there is no slip resistant bottom, so I felt like I needed to hold on to something so I wouldn’t slip or trip
There is no gym in the hotel, they do advertise a spa but I never used it. There is a small bar but I don’t know what time it closes. The restaurant seems to be a fancy fine dining restaurant and the food is actually lovely, but in comparison I was surprised at the breakfast, it was very basic, it had 2 hot options, bread, fruit, cold meats & cheese, it definitely didn’t live up to the standard the restaurant is renowned for
Unlike hotels in other countries these days there did seem to be a daily cleaning service although it was a bit hit and miss, some things were cleaned or changed each day, others weren’t

I had meat menu, entrée had bland taste, tartare was quite good but olive oil was too bitter in my opinion, asparagus soup was also without taste. Main was really heavy nothing to balance the meat, pea purée was silky smooth but very basic flavour and finally dessert was good maybe too much sorbet which was predominant.Price was 29€. They need to put together more balanced menu for next time.

Had lunch there. Not a good experience. The service was very poor (food was OK, except for the dessert, which we have not tasted). Waitress first handed out menus. When we ordered she served us wine. Food was brought by another waiter. We than waited for the dessert for more than half an hour. We than went and requested the waitress for desserts menu. We than waited at our tables for another 20 minutes for the waitress to pick up our order. Because nobody came, we just payed and left (with no dessert).

Very tasty and with fair price Sunday lanch (hello from kitchen, soup, main dish and delight sweet dish). In total was more then enough and evry meal was tasty and done with right feeling. Servis as well ok anyway that we were not alone and our group was 18 people.

Hotel has peaceful location out of the city. There are no problems with parking near the front door. Building is a modern cube with two floors. Receptionist is kind, rooms are very clean. Lift is slow. Breakfast is rich but nothing special. Supper can be good surprise. Better food than in local inns around – and cheaper, too. Good choice for money.

Located in an industrial area, the surroundings close by where not maybe the greatest. The rooms, however, was perfect and the bed was good. But the best of all was the restaurant where I had a fantastic dinner from local dishes during the evening. Try the restaurant when you stay here!

Stayed here for two nights in June. Food great and hospitality very good. Elvis and his team work hard to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Room was lovely with separate lounge, bathrooms and bedroom lots of space.

Hotel is located few kilometers from Dravograd, in quiet place. It looks luxurious, rooms are very spacious and bathroom is equipped by yakuzzi. I enjoyed the hotel, but the breakfast could be a bit better. I can reccommend
