We arrived at the hotel around 3 p.m., where we were greeted by very friendly staff who, in addition to Slovenian, speaks English, Serbian and Croatian fluently. We made the reservation through Booking.com and check-in went without a problem, during which they explained all the services that the spa has to offer. The room is quite spacious and clean with wifi access and cable TV, and for a small extra charge you can also get a view of the surrounding very beautiful landscape.
The "basic package" we paid included breakfast and access to the indoor and outdoor pools with thermal water. The thermal water is warm enough that the outdoor pool can be used even in February, which is especially nice.

Beautiful Hotel, with direct access to the spa, nice clean and spacious rooms, excellent quality of linen, good quality both breakfast and dinner, courteous staff prepared and kind. Ok, so my wife and I decided to go on a relaxing weekend getaway. We wanted to take a break from everyday stress and to enjoy some "we" time in the pools, saunas, spa. We wanted to get some couple massages and so...
We chose Rimske Terme because of their reputation, and of course Instagram pics from many influencers. But at the end, it was nothing like we've imagined. Let's start from the beginning, there is no public parking space so you have to park in the hotel garage and of course you pay for it (Not cheap!), than we got a room which was ok, but not worth €250 per night (inside wall view).
Then we went to the pool area, now you would expect that to be the main and the best thing this hotel has to offer but you are so wrong. Instead of smelling relaxing scents, you smell burgers and French fries and local bear, because there is a fast-food bar in the pool area, thats right, in that amazing pool area. Terrible!
What was even more worse is that there was no place to lay down by the pool because it was so crowded (many are not guests but local residents). The pools were filled with children splashing and screaming, nothing like Instagram would suggest.
We wanted to get some massage or couples treatments but everything was fully booked two days in advance. Luckily one girl from the ground floor managed to get us a 20-min thermal experience for us.
The all other service (except for that one girl and reception) were very rude, especially one guy working afternoon on the pool bar and then in the lobby bar. To expensive for a bad manners service. He didn't know the menu. He threw the plate with food on our table and so one. The hotel buffet restaurant, terrible as well, small offer, no one came to serve us with drinks, and they did see us.
All together, it was a bad experience and we will certainly not visit Rimske Terme again and we would not suggest it to anyone.

We spent two nights at Rimske Terme and it certainly exceeded our expectations.
Spacious and warm room, with nice views of the valley. The bed, ultra-comfortable!
The overall cleanliness of the hotel is 10. Everything is impeccable, from the common areas to the room.
We would like to thank all the staff, who work with care and dedication, from the waiters in the restaurant and bar, cleaning service, therapists and Reception. Thanks to Tjasa and Marko for an efficient check-in and check-out process.
Special mention to David, the night shift receptionist, who gave us complete information about the area and the complex. He went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. A credit to the Hotel!
We decided on the Half Board and the truth is that it has been the right choice. Abundant and complete breakfast. Dinner, with different options, all of them well prepared and tasty.
The thermal area is dreamy, with large pools both indoors and outdoors and the outdoor saunas are great! If you need a little extra relaxation, I recommend the Touch of Slovenia massage and the Chocolate massage, for us it was a great choice.

We stayed in the hotel for 5 days, weather was moody and rainy, so there was no chance to dry your towels and swimsuit... Room description says there are sockets next to the bed, but there are none, so if you want to charge your phone over night, you will have to walk across the room to turn off your alarm in the morning.. Light switchs are so far away from the bed that you have to stand up to open/close the lights next to the bed, which should be done without having to stand up. Bathroom door doesn't fully close, so there is not much privacy.. I booked overpriced massage Valetuda - it says it lasts 90 minutes, but it lasted less than 60 minutes - very dissapointing and a total waste of 75 eu!
Otherwise pool area is nice, not crowded and enough space for everybody, allthough we expected water to be a little bit warmer. Hotel staff was very polite and always ready to help, and breakfast was perfect! Would come again to the pool, but definitely not to the hotel.

The hotel Zdravilišni dom is tidy and clean, but is not 4 stars hotel. The mattresses are soft, the pillows are very hard and high, the carpet is full of stains, the curtains on the holes and the mirror and faucet are rusty. The door is thin like paper so everything from the hallway can be heard in the room.
Breakfast is plentiful, food is fine, but chairs and tables are not 4 star hotel level. The leather chairs are worn and the tablecloths are worn and have holes. The waitresses are not pleasant.
The pools are OK, but the top floor jacuzzi rarely works. There are no shampoos in the shower and hotel guests can't use towels for free, which again is not in line with the 4 star hotel.

All inclusive package with very poor food choices, first day no heating in the bathroom. Dinner choices were equal to shipyard restaurants, no free water and prices of beverage over the roof.

Our package had one sauna ticket. The saune was nice, Thre restraurant closed at 22.00
Hello, I spent some days in Rimski dvor, so I can't tell you about Sofijin dvor. Anyway ask for the view over farmlands. I think you won't be sorry spending some time in this wonderful spa resort. If you are looking relaxation, good food, roman ambient, Rimske terme is for you.
