Terrific site - peaceful and relaxing. Really impressed at the cleanliness. Mike and Vikki went out of their way to ensure our stay was as perfect as could be. Thank you very much for a fabulous few days. Will definitely return

Small quiet campsite in a glen/cutting between the trees. Very well run by the owners. Low commercials. Fresh tomatoes available from their garden. Facilities very clean. Great for cyclists on the Nantes canal, tents, touring vans and caravans. Only down side is the range onthe wifi, although it’s free near the office. Chateau line is a lovely town to be based in. Kayak or swim in the river. The local creperies are great. The tabacs, and Restaurant’s also very good and not over priced. We will return here.

Honestly can’t fault this site! Very well maintained with excellent clean facilities block and very friendly helpful English owners. A great location within easy reach of ferry ports and just a short walk along the river to the town of Chateaulin.

We have just returned from a fantastic 10 nights camping at La Pointe. Vikki and Mike are very friendly and welcoming. The facilities are excellent and well looked after. Our son loved playing table tennis in the games room. The pitches are spacious and we had a lovely pitch in the woodland, which gave welcome shade during this heat wave. The river nearby is beautiful and it is very easy to walk along it to the shops and restaurants in Chateaulin. We had a brilliant time and will definitely return!

Lodge Tent for up to 4 people. Well built, didn't leak, had electricity which helped us survive the really hot two days with a powerful fan.Provided stove and bar b q were great, goosd size fridge and nearly sparking clean toilet block.

It's the loviest campsite. A real oasis of calm and peacefulness with a babbling stream running down one side. A lovely place to come back to after a day out. It's a very well manicured site with good sized pitches and spotless facilities. We went with our children aged 8 and 10. They enjoyed the small play area, games room and feeding the resident chickens. Would highly recommend this campsite.

Without overusing hyperbole, this was as near an ideal site for us as we could imagine and one of the very best that we have been fortunate to stumble across! Our placement was quiet, spacious and private surrounded by mature trees and wildlife. The shower block and other facilities were always spotlessly clean and well equipped. The use of clean fridges and freezers was very well organised and a blessing whilst camping. Vikki and Mike were attentive and helpful and full of advice and suggestions for days out. The weekly crepe evening is not to be missed as to is swimming in the clean and peaceful waters of the river Alne opposite the campsite entrance. We also saw salmon and a solitary kingfisher. Local beaches and the fishing ports of Cameret-sur-mere and Duarnenez were added bonuses contributing variety and colour to an all too brief stay.

This was our third visit to Camping La Pointe and we continue to enjoy the wonderful campsite. Mike and Vikki work so hard to maitain everything to a very high standard including the new Covid procedures. It's a peaceful site with excellent walks direct to the countryside and canal. The local town of Chateaulin has all you need for a visit, we also hired a car from the local supermarket and headed to the Crozon peninsula which is stunning. We enjoyed the crepe night and were also lucky to see an otter in the canal along with kingfishers. We hope to return again.

A beautiful site with an abundance of mature trees which makes for great privacy for pitches. Owls hoot at night and otherwise it’s very tranquil. Wash block clean and excellent. Welcoming hosts. Wonderful crepe night, utterly delicious. The adjacent canal is stunning, there are some lovely walks/runs from the campsite. Chateaulin is great, gorgeous patisseries and historic bridges. Close to beaches, Crozon peninsula and Roscoff/north coast of Brittany. Can’t wait to return.

It is hard to exaggerate on the beauty of this site. We enjoyed the abundant flowers, lots of space, and calm atmosphere. This is not a place for party animals, but the place to be to explore the coast and inland of Finistère, away from the tourist crowds. We happily recommend staying here!
