Very friendly welcome from the front of house team here. Very informative and professional. Nothing fancy about the hotel, but decent standard and all clean. Always struggle with the concept of not having coffee in your room so that disappointed. Also quite some noise through the night from the train station and a storm. Breakfast was very good. Nice view from the room too! A convenient spot that I may well use again when travelling fairly close by for work.

Nice hotel with great location, nice rooms with really comfortable beds and a very nice restaurant and lounge area. The staff are super friendly and service minded! I got a free upgrade for no special reason. Free parking.

I have stayed at Hotell Hogland a number of times. During my recent stay they have updated/modernised the interior which is a great improvement.

Hotell staff are always very courteous and helpful. Rooms are comfortable although refreshments such as tea/coffee could be an improvement.

Restaurant food is of good quality with a nice selection. Although it is not open all days of the week.

Wifi speed is excellent, parking is not a problem.

Not only very good conference hotel but also nice for couples. Good location close to railway station and town senter. I didn’t have time to enjoy spa facilities. I arrived very late in the evening and althrough the kitchen was closed the kind waiter served me a tasteful sandwich! I ‘ve got outstanding service in preparation before and during our conferance. Well, all staff I met was very friendly and helpful.

WHY:
Whenever there is a fair in Jönköping (Elmia), all the hotels there are fully booked at least a year in advance. That is why I always prefer hotel Högland.

ROOMS:
It's an old hotel, but clean and with all the comfort you need for business stay: working desk, free wireless internet, lcd tv with free movie channel,...

GETTING AROUND:
Be aware: you need a car to get around though! The hotel has free outside parking and payed inside parking.

RESTAURANT:
Very limited choice and not the most modern setting, but VERY VERY GOOD FOOD!

Not a dream destination for leisure travellers, but convenient for business! Take a look at the map of Sweden though before booking there, because it's not a central location!

It’s one of those hotels from other time. But I like those. Generally good room areas, nice bathrooms and fancy common areas. Staff is nice and everything was accordingly.
Had dinner in the restaurant. Has many options for short or longer meals.
For both hotel and restaurant is a good option in the area.

First of all this is a nice hotel. Room was recently decorated. The room was on the small side but very clean. The bathroom was tiny and the shower made this into a wet room with the plug in the middle, under the sink. The downstairs bar does not open until 6pm and closes at 10pm (in the week). No atmosphere in the place at all. Breakfast was average, can't really complain. The town does not have a bar and a very small selection of restaurants, most closed when I was there. Pretty much a ghost town. We did find a bowling ally which was good one evening. Overall a nice a pleasant stay in Nassjo.

Close, walking distance, to the railwaystation. A hotel from the 1950-ies. Rundown and needs a major overhaul. Breakfast and restaurant is good. Indoor parking available.
OK for one nigth. Try and bargain the roomrate.

After staying here for a third time in four months I had to leave a review, stayed here for business purposes, friendly staff, comfortable adequate room and meals were exceptional, the breakfast is varied hot and cold and has some unusual (for me anyway) choices, all in all a well located hotel, excellent travel links too.

I booked a room for myself and four kids. Professional check-in, free parking, gifts for the kids. Got a nice room with a great view. Since it was in the summertime, we were allowed into the relax/sauna area despite the kids being under age. Nice with the jacuzzis.
We slept well and got a great breakfast buffet the next morning, including things like pancakes that the kids appreciated.
Location in Nässjö is perfect, next to the train station and right in the center of town. I couldn’t have asked for more, especially when paying as much as on any other not so good family hotel.
