Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa garners praise for its sumptuous amenities, including renovated villas with private pools, underpinned by excellent service, although a few guests have pointed out dining inconsistencies. The hotel's cleanliness and meticulous housekeeping receive high marks, ensuring spotless accommodations. Nestled in a peaceful beachfront location, it offers seclusion, though it's a trek from local hotspots. Room experiences vary, with comfort and luxury often celebrated despite some reports of wear. The atmosphere is generally considered serene, but opinions on the dining area diverge. Attentive staff contribute to a commendable service reputation, with value recognized by many, despite occasional cost concerns.

A beautiful beach front resort and wonderful staff all throughout and particularly Noo, the experience manager. Very comfortable facility and lovely environment. Excellent spa and gym. An easy trip from Phuket airport. Nothing is too much trouble.

Amazing Stay 5 Star Services and Hotel This hotel truly stands out as the best in Phuket, and it's not just because of its pristine beach and crystal-clear waters—it's the outstanding staff that truly elevate it to a 5-star experience. The team, from maintenance to management, goes above and beyond in every aspect. Special mention goes to the beach and restaurant staff, who provide exceptional service. Manager Noo deserves high praise for going the extra mile to ensure our stay in Thailand was unforgettable. Additionally, our driver, Aek, doubled as an incredible guide during our day trip in the Longtail boat, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our journey. Both Noo and Aek deserve a perfect 5-star rating. We can't wait to return!

My 5th Return What a heavenly experience at Aleenta Phuket! This was my 5th visit, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The hotel is wonderful, the food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. The staff are incredibly lovely and accommodating. The therapeutic oil worked wonders, and I can't thank them enough for that. Noo, the manager, took care of every detail, ensuring our stay was perfect. Aek, our driver and guide, was exceptionally helpful throughout our time here. We're already looking forward to our next visit! 🤎🙏🏾

Our recent stay at Aleenta Phuket – Phang Nga Resort & Spa left much to be desired, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by several glaring issues. The room conditions were far from the expected standards of a five-star resort. Outdated decor, worn-out furnishings, and signs of neglect were evident. The lack of maintenance was disappointing, with visible issues like chipped paint and malfunctioning items. The hotel exhibits a clear lack of maintenance and overdue renovations both in the rooms and common spaces. The restaurant's disorganization was a major drawback. Waiting times for tables were excessively long, and even when seated, the service was far from smooth. Dirty tables, missing glasses, napkins, and other essentials were recurrent issues, painting a picture of a poorly managed dining environment. This, coupled with the high prices for subpar quality, left a sour taste. For a purported five-star establishment, the lack of employee training and coordination was glaringly evident. Throughout the stay, service was consistently mediocre, lacking the professionalism one would expect. It is disappointing that the positive efforts of Assistant Manager Noo and employee Ham were overshadowed by the systemic issues plaguing the hotel's overall operation. One of the most concerning aspects of my stay was the consistently unclean restaurant area. Over the course of five days, there was no evidence of proper cleaning of the restaurant area, creating an unhygienic atmosphere that is simply unacceptable in a hotel setting. In conclusion, Aleenta Phuket – Phang Nga Resort & Spa fell short of expectations, with numerous issues ranging from maintenance and service quality to hygiene standards. Despite the commendable efforts of a few staff members, the overall experience was marred by systemic problems. Regrettably, we cannot recommend this hotel and would not consider returning in the future.

Response from Kanchalika Meesuk, Other at Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa

Dear 732Candida P Thank you for sharing your feedback with us via TripAdvisor. We are sorry to hear your experience fell short of expectations. Given the nature of your comments and your rating of 1* falling well below that which most guests choose to give (average 4.5* currently), we would like to address your issues where you feel we fell short. Being beachfront resort we are constantly battling with the elements of nature. We are always making improvements and renovation is an ongoing process. The vast majority of public and private spaces have all been renovated within the past year and I can assure you that any outstanding issues you have raised are well in hand. I notice you have posted a few pictures of leaves on the ground and in our pond. Unfortunately the nature of a beach front resort is that leaves do fall. We pick them up all the time and endeavour to have our resort spick and span as soon as possible after rain or a storm. You have also appear to have wandered into one of our engineering store areas where we keep machinery and posted a picture of the entrance to it at night. This is clearly marked as off limits for guests and I am not sure why you would be in there. For your other photos, we agree that the towel should be taken out of commission and we will see to that. I am not sure why you have posted the photos of our Bike shed by night or or our outdoor antique urn near the car park. Regarding your restaurant experience, hygiene and good quality service are always of utmost importance to us and we are continually striving to improve. Though I appreciate your specific experience was not a good one, most of our guests offer our two inhouse restaurants between 4.5-5* in their reviews so I believe your experience was an outlier. However we very much take on board your comments and hope that, should you change your mind in the future and choose to return, your experience will be a better one. Sincerely Kanchalika Meesuk Resort Manager

Aleenta Phuket Resort is what dreams are made of. The Grand Deluxe Pool Villa was completely private with a lovely waist deep pool and every comfort you could think of was suppied. Very comfortable king size bed, the option of room service or the restaurant for meals or romantic private dinners on the beachfront. (By the way the beach out front is completely private also and la lovely long sandy beach. As for their Spa, lots of services tyo choose from ... I had an eyebrow wax and two massages. One was a lymphatic massage with Mimi who was excellent. No doubt we will be returning to this little bit of paradise in the near future. Another advantage is that the resort is only about half an hour drive north of Phuket Airport.

We stayed at the Aleenta in November 2023 in a beach front pool villa. Our experience was ok. The staff are lovely and deserve all the accolades. I hesitate to criticize the property because, for the price (especially for a beach front villa with private pool), it's lovely. But I can't agree with the five star allocation, and I've admittedly stayed at nicer Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties. Ultimately, small details would make the difference between being nice and being stellar. Having to pay for mosquito spray is bit ridiculous - most nicer properties offer it for free. Rooms felt a little tired - like their prime was 5-10 years ago. Extremely comfortable beds and great linens, but the bathroom had some peeling paint and water stains on the counter, and the pool deck had a few raised boards. Food was hit or miss. Breakfast was a disappointment and left a lot to be desired - an omelette was cold, pancakes like rubber. Lunch and dinner were significant improvements, especially when sticking to Thai cuisine (but I also don't know who is ordering penne pasta when in Thailand - what a waste!). The beach is solid - the water is not the clearest compared to other parts of Thailand (or even Phuket), but wide, long, sandy shores and barely anyone else in sight make it special, and sunsets are stunning. All in all, a mixed bag.

13 years after our first visit we returned to Aleenta Phuket this year both in January and October. The hotel was fantastic, the staff nothing more than outstanding friendly, the quality of rooms, food, massage and general service outstanding. We would love to come back anytime! And the beach is one of the best in Thailand for us!
