Quiet location on Natai beach. Good size room, huge comfortable bed, new center ceiling aircon. I guess these pool access rooms are renovated recently.

Staff is really nice and service minded.

Breakfast was little disapointment. Sausages, becon etc. were all cold. Many food were finished and not filled in 30 minutes time. Hygiene low level. Many people took food by hands because no proper tools or containers. Would like to see rice soup in breakfast while in Thailand.

My wife and I just spent 7 unbelievably fantastic nights at Le Coral. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to leaving again we were treated like royalty. Meals were all great with plenty of variety, happy hours were just that, daily massages as a couple were so relaxing and the suite with its ocean views was one of the best we have stayed in. The service was exceptional with everybody addressing us by name and knowing our preferences by the end of the first day. Big shout out to Frank ( food and Beverage manager ) and his staff who were so good to us . We recommend this resort to any couple who want to get away and relax in absolute comfort. Cannot wait to go back!!

We cannot say enough about this beautiful Resort and its amazingly friendly and professional staff. My husband and I stayed 7 nights at this beautiful resort and were sad to leave. We have stayed in many hotels around the world and have never experienced the unbelievable service that we received here at Le Coral Hideaway Beyond Phuket. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome drink, cool scented towels and individual attention. We had the Luxury Suite- and that it was-luxurious. With a king-sized bed which faced the ocean and pool, with crisp white sheets, a separate fully tiled room with spa bath and open shower area. The lounge and wall mounted flat screen T.V was separated by a lovely wooden panelled wall creating another room. There were soft, fluffy white towels and beach towels provided. There were ample quality products such as shampoo & conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste, razors, body lotion and wash of which all were replaced daily. It was a lovely touch to have a pod coffee machine and a great way to start the day.
My husband and I both had several massages whilst there and again, we found them to be amazing.
But what we want to especially highlight is the service which we received from all the staff. We have no doubt that this is largely due to Le Corals Manager Khun (Mr) Ben. He was so helpful and even organised a couple of day trips to the islands for us. He and his staff are 100% dedicated to making the guests feel welcome and not just a number.
They knew us by name, and we also enjoyed getting to know them whilst there. In fact this is what we want to comment on more than anything. Anyone who visits Le Coral, yes you will love your beautiful accommodation but if you are like us, you will be blown away by the people who work there. They show personal interest and are happy to have a chat. And they certainly cannot do enough to make your stay a memorable one. So if you visit Le Coral, lookup these wonderful people which deserve a mention. Ben (manager) Frank,- Beer, Aod (waiters/bar)- Kwan & Jane (waitresses) -Heng, Mhee, Joo, Ice (Reception)- Au (masseuse) and there are many more. So to everyone at Le Coral- THANKYOU for our most memorable holiday ever.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted like royalty. Meet by the wonderful front of house manger First who couldn't do enough to make us feel so welcome. Our room is amazing, huge with direct access to the pool and gardens over looking the sea. Other staff at the restaurant and pool (Ton, Yao) have been so friendly and welcoming. We are so overwhelmed with the kindness, service and attention to detail - we can't wait to share this wonderful hotel with family and friends - thank you

We spent 10 days in the pool suite, which was great! The hotel is a hideaway meaning there is no shopping or cities nearby, which for us was great! The beach is 20 meters from the hotel and accessed by a private bridge. In our room we had a private pool which was well worth the extra money.
I would rate this hotel 4/5 id it wasnt for the fact of the housekeeping. We had housekeeping all days which cleaned the room, two days without us being in the room (as we had other activities). These two days several clothes were stolen from my wifes luggage. Meaning someone in the housekeeping staff searched therough her suitcase and took clothes which they liked.
This is for us unacceptable, and this is the fact alone which make us not recommend this to other travelers or us to return to this place. When we mentioned this to the reception staff they just said ”sorry” but took no action.
The management didnt even mention it upon check-out!

If you are planning to stay here, make sure to lock your suitcase when you leave your room.

staying here is like the old Eagles song..."you can check in any time you like.... but you can never leave"....youre a captive market here = there's nowhere else to go! and the management seem aware of this fact, the many comments about poor service and food quality, appear to continue to not be attended to. At first you think, its cool, youre on holiday...chill out...but after about the third day it gets very annoying . the restaurant tells you they have no ice for two days...the Spa, they have no massage oil? youre kidding me right! enough is enough! I go back to my room and supply the Day Spa with my own massage oil.....many staff do not speak English and are training, I have never in all my travels to Thailand seen so many unhappy Thai people on staff!! when a staff member does smile and offer service, its a rare moment to be cherished, and highlights the sombre mood .....one or two staff seemto know whats going on..but when they are not around, things become very frustrating...little things like ordering room service....dealing with reception become an irritation. Its a shame as the location in itself is very beautiful, and I think has some of the nicest isolated beaches I have seen in Thailand. I base my rating on recent stays at 5 star resorts in the area..including Sarojin, The Chedi , Surin and Twin Palms ..a final mention for the GM at the checkout you seemed so anxious and overly concerned with checking the mini bar, but you forgot to say hello how are you? how was your stay?....have you only after 2 years since opening forgotten what hospitality is? In such a competitive Hotel market as this area, I will be surprised if this place survives, it doesnt seem to have defined what it wants to be.

Le Coral Hideaway Beyond Phuket
The main thing to note about this hotel is its location. It is very isolated with very little to do in the immediate area, maybe OK for a short relaxing break but very limiting for a longer stay.
The hotel is still in the ‘soft opening stage’ with building work still being carried out (December 2014). We had thought that it was an old hotel undergoing refurbishment because of the poor finish in many areas; maybe it will be smarter when it is completed.
Although the room gives the initial impression of being very smart and stylish it is in fact one of the most impractical, badly-designed rooms we have ever stayed in. There is very little storage: 1 drawer in the bedside table, 2 drawers in the desk area that are so shallow (2.5cm deep!) that they are only fit for a slim notebook, and 1 drawer in the wardrobe which had 5 coathangers. There is hardly enough storage space to allow two people to unpack their bags.
The bathroom also has the Wow factor until you want to use it. The modern rectangular basin is only 6.5cm deep without an overflow and the tap over the basin is so near the edge that water splashes over the top of the vanity unit. Similarly the overhead rain shower is too short and is positioned so that you have to stand so close to the wall that you knock into the control taps. On a positive note the bath sheets and towels are huge and luxurious – pity there’s nowhere to hang them!
The Super king bed was wonderfully comfortable with lovely quality sheets and pillows. All rooms have a spacious balcony with a view over the canal to the Andaman Sea.
Outside there is a plastic pontoon bridge which crosses the canal to reach the beach. The fairly featureless beach stretches for quite a distance in both directions. Good for shell hunting and beachcombing (as I said there is not much else to do!). About a 15 minute walk along the beach to the left there is a very nice beachside fish restaurant if you want to eat away from the hotel. At night, when the pontoon is moved, it is about a 10 minute walk along the road. Take a torch.
Breakfast was really excellent with a huge selection to choose from with chefs on standby to serve up your personal requests, There was even a chocolate fountain if that’s what you fancy first thing in the morning! Service and quality of food were superb.
The swimming pool is again badly designed. Although it is new the dull green tiles make it look old and dirty. There are lots of steps and ledges with sharp corners and edges so you have to be extremely careful in the pool. Children would have to be very well supervised to avoid accidents.
The staff were all very friendly, helpful and attentive and provided excellent service. ‘Joke’ was very welcoming and provided a fast and efficient check in.
I would probably recommend this hotel if you just wanted a very short ,relaxing, do nothing break but there are plenty of better places to stay if you want a more interesting experience.

Most things in our room are luxury. We love the bed and pillow quality, bathroom amenity set..it smells so nice. Our room (No.405) has pool, river & sea view...its atmosphere, plus cozy tastefully decorated made me feel like I'm at home. This room reaches the 5 star standard.

However, we were not very impressed with 4 bottles of still water in the mini bar. Where were other soft drinks??? Seriously, is this your mini bar set up standard?

Walkway was really dark and we got lost finding the way to the bar. There was no sign. Spent 15 mins walking around, later we found that the bar was 2 mins away from our room!

FO team are friendly but for restaurant staff, I think they do need to improve their attitude and service mind skill.

Overall, we quite enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. Thanks so much for the birthday cake.

This property is still in a soft-opening phase, but is in an illustrious, north-of-Phuket neighborhood with 3-4 other impressive and elegant resorts. It certainly adds to the Natai luster. Spa, fitness center, pool suites, restaurant (two more to come by Opening Day in October)... all boast immaculate attention to detail (stylish bathroom tiling, scale, plush towels, amenities, bedside reading lamps, views from the spa and fitness room). Pools, a canal (over which you walk or boat to the beach), and ocean all keep you cool. It is private, tranquil and contemporary elegant -- and until October, what a value!! Splurge on one of the suites. Do this.

If you are looking for a refined hotel with personalised service away from the masses then this is just the place for you. The staff go beyond what is required to ensure that your stay is faultless. Our room was an horizon suite on the 4th floor and our view was magnificent. Avoid getting a ground floor room as your view of the ocean will be limited. We were given enough complimentary water to last us both for each day. My only gripe would be that our AC seemed to have a mind of its own as it would often turn it's self up in the middle of the night. Do make use of the free kayaks and go up the river. It is really worthwhile to see traditional Thai women fishing in the river. Lots of birdlife to discover and see if you can spot a water monitor along the banks. The beach is completely unspoilt and deserted. About a kilometer up the beach there is a local bar/ restaurant and they also have massages there for 250. The bridge between the hotel and beach is easily accessible, however I would not recommend it for very elderly people as the steps are rather steep. The gym is in excellent condition and we made use of the spa facilities as well. The swimming pool is absolutely divine, the water a perfect temperature. Beach and pool towels are provided daily. Do try the mango berry smoothie by the pool. Happy hour between 5 -7 is a definite must. The Coral Moon bar has a wide selection of classic and Thai cocktails. This was a daily highlight for me as watching the sunset from the deck is priceless. We ate every night at La Perla, the food was exceptional for the price. ( Highly unusual for a hotel) Fine Thai dinning with specially prepared dishes just for us after careful instructions from our waiter,Beer. Beer looked after us every night and arranged a private seafood barbeque on our last night in honour of our 14th wedding anniversary. Compliments to Chef Bao, Chef Owen and the rest of their team. Finally deserts that surpass the so called top restaurants in Bangkok. A very special thanks to the manager who gave me some wise advise and to Frank for his extensive knowledge on wine and languages. Beer for his attentions and our barmen for looking after us every evening. A tranquil oasis where you will be treated like a celebrity for the duration of your stay. I can highly recommend this hotel for couples looking for a romantic getaway and for travellers who appreciate the finer things in life without breaking the bank!

Do have any tours that good from your hotel as we are coming to stay at some time soon?
Answer from Chuang2013

I didnt join any tour with the hotel and not sure whether they had one? you might need to contact the hotel. Islands hoping could be good, but it could be very exhausted. I joined this one before: loveandaman, Their services were okay. I would recommend you to join the tours with not many islands, otherwise you will be surprised, how long they let you spend times in the islands.

Honestly, stay at Akyra along the road! We were told there was more than one restaurant open & there is not! Also the coral moon bar & Luna bar are never open. The resort almost felt deserted & the beach has literally nothing on it, only about 5 sun loungers with a very dangerous floating crossing to get to it!
Answer from Management951

Resort has 3 outlets on site serves daily: La Perla, main restaurant for Thai and Western favorites, open from 6:30 - 23:00. Coral Moon Bar, open-air bar suites for sun downers over the Andaman Horizon, serves snack and drinks from 16:00 - 23:00. Luna Bar, located by the pool, offer refreshing cocktail or tropical drink, and delectable eats. You may experience local menus from nearby restaurants with 10 minutes by car. We don't have scooters for rent, but we offer mountain bikes for free. You can enjoy cycling along the canal.

Hi....there is a restaurant/shack on the beach..which sells very cheap beer and great food..from memory it's open from 11.00am till around 10ish at night...and there is another hotel up the beach too..but I think it's more expensive than Le Coral. Look it was our first time in Thailand too and we loved it. But we are in our 50eeee....three weeks is a long time..but we got a guy/taxi to drive us around for a few dayssee the sights..the hotel arranged it and it was so cheap..you can do a few days trips to the islands and go to Patong... so you will fill it in. The meals and drinks were very reasonable at the hotel and we are there every night..big selection to choose from. We found the staff excellent and we did get the staff asking if we wanted drinks when we where at the pool...like any holiday it's what you make it..we had a great time and meet some lovely people. By the way the massage's are wonderful too. Hope you have a fabulous time....
