As a female traveler I am aghast that the rooms all seem to have their locks ripped off. In other words, there are no bolts or locks on the doors once in the room. (See photo.) My room (after having moved to find a room with a lock) stinks of B.O. and also still lacks a lock. Unnerving to say the least.

Having stayed before in one of Radisson Blu hotels abroad (4 stars), I expected this 5-stars hotel to be have at least the same luxury standards as the other one but it turned to nothing but a very normal hotel with old elavators and many walls that need repainting. Something that we dont expect to see in a 5-stars hotel. The room was fairly big (Premium ones with lateral sea view), fairly clean and with very low sound isolation. The breakfast and the dinner (paid on extra) were acceptable, no much variety or efforts were put. However, the hotel was calm for a couple who needed rest. Unfortunatly, when swimming in the inner pool, my finger was cut by a broken tile on the 1.25m side, which is supposed to be the safe side since the other corners were around 1.75 & 2m. The cut was deep enough for a healthy female adult to feel light headed for hours after the incident. The lifeguard in the pool helped me clean the wound and informed the administration but no one from the reception came by to check or ask questions about the incident. As if it were a minor scratch or something. After more than a day the cut was getting worse and I needed to see a doctor, the manager was professionnal enough to arrange everything for us to go see the doctor and get the necessary shots on the hotel charge, the least that they can do (Although we waited a whole night for the doctor visit as the night shift agent who also had no idea about the incident refused to take any measures without approuval from his supervisors). Should the incident was taken seriouly, the agent could have followed a procedure without waiting for approval the next morning. What was truley disappointing (in addition to the fact that the hotel is not in line with luxury standards of other R.B hotels abroad) is the fact that the hotel took no action or gave no offer for ruining my long waited vacation unlike what was expected from a well reptued hotel group. I had to spend the remaining days watching TV instead of swimming or playing tennis, things i enjoy doing when visiting hotels. It has been now almost two weeks and i m still struggling to do my everyday activities. I'm disappointed how negligeant they can be when it comes to safety matters and to client satisfaction. I truly regret trusting this hotel.

Although I stayed at the Radisson for work to attend a symposium, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel and rooms were impeccably clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room, which featured a nice balcony with a great view of the palm trees.

In this hotel, there is no hygiene whatsoever. The restaurant is a complete disgrace, cleanliness is nonexistent—kitchen appliances, coffee machines, tableware, tables, ceiling lights, floor, windows, exhaust hood! Don't you see it? Walk through your restaurant, onto the terrace! Nothing is clean or well-maintained. Now, the spa—I can't find words! Drains are unclean, paint from the ceiling above the Jacuzzi is falling into the water, your staff, when not occupied with their smartphones, never looks into the pool when small children are present. When mopping the floor, they drag dirty water into the pools! The drains in the spa area are disgusting! Calling that sunbeds in a 5-star hotel stains everywhere, unbearable. Your sun-umbrellas, disgusting! The drains of the external pools, turn them over, a complete disgrace. Your hotel has great potential, but if your employees prefer their smartphones, it can't work! This was, in any case, the worst vacation in terms of hygiene we have ever had. We didn't try much food except for boiled eggs because when a person feels disgust above all, at least our appetite disappears. As management, take 5 minutes and walk through your restaurant, look under the tables, at the ceiling, and the presentation of your entire infrastructure; you will certainly find how dirty everything is. A coffee machine in restaurants MUST be taken apart and cleaned inside and out every day! Toxic mold can quickly develop here! It just seems like you don't care at all! In any case, for us, never, never, never again

Overall impression is very good mainly due to friendly, helpful & constantly smiling staff!. I'm not picky when it comes to the food, but I think you can always find something. However, very surprised with the inappropriate behaviour of the male hotel staff in this 5* hotel for whom NO don’t have a meaning and repetitively try to invite you to dates outside of the hotel, which was ultimately very annoying!

The property is huge and amazing , rooms are sea view with balcony, big rooms and great bathroom too All amenities of a 5 star Staff was very helpful and pleasant Nadia at the guest relations helped me Breakfast was very good I am not sure about the location as the property itself is so good that you don’t want to go out anywhere But I found some nice cafe and restaurant’s within the area Would recommend this hotel 👍

I work in the hotel industry myself and am therefore very interested in the development of various hotels. I first visited the Radisson Blu in Djerba in 2009 and was largely impressed, so much so that I've been coming back every few years since then for a week or two a year. The hotel is located on a beautiful beach, has very attractive architecture and very friendly, long-standing employees. Unfortunately, everything has changed here since the change in management about 8 years ago and since then this hotel has reflected the decline of Tunisian tourism. The hotel is run by a shockingly incompetent general manager who only cares about clients' money and seems to have no idea about hospitality. You can feel that savings are being made in all areas of the hotel: mediocre food quality, pathetic all-in concept, lack of staff, lack of cleaning, lack of renovations, ... even the toilet paper is of poorest quality. What guests are offered here for their money is almost a scam. Today the Radisson Blu Djerba is largely populated by Eastern Bloc tourists and unpleasantly noisy Franco-Tunisians. Every year the garden, corridors, pool and restaurants look more unkempt and dingy. Wifi is worryingly slow and absolutely unusable for business applications. Although the rooms were renovated a few years ago (in an aesthetically pleasing but unfortunately very sloppy manner), they are already dirty and smelly again, although the carpets will probably soon run away of their own accord, as vacuum cleaners are not known in this hotel. Resignation is increasingly noticeable among the very friendly employees; they feel exploited and badly treated and long for a change in management. You can't help but ask yourself why the responsible people at Radisson Group don't intervene so that this originally good hotel may flourish again.

Very bad service. Many problems with the room we were accommodated in. The staff did not take any action after our repeated requests. They tried to scam us that we owe money upon checking out of the hotel. They told us we owed $1593 for food, and we were all inclusive! I do not recommend!!!

Terrible service at Radisson Blue Palace Resort Djerba. Staff is unhelpful and inattentive. Experienced rudeness from waiter in restaurant. Despite good food, constant shortages of utensils, drinks. All-inclusive is disappointing. Limited activities, overall boring. Great rooms, awful service.
