This was hands down the best place I've ever stayed! Every detail - the service, the building, the setting, the food and drink - were all perfect.I would highly recommend this as the perfect place to stay whilst visiting the Loire valley.

My wife and I spent three nights at Domaine De La Toriniere with two other couples. Entering the grounds through the main gate was like being in the Wizard of Oz. After driving through a large gate, which is locked a night, we drove several blocks though a forest with minimal sunlight. The ground was covered with small white and...

This lovely family owned chateau is in a beautiful setting. We decided to stay in a prestige room in one of the garden buildings as the chateau has no elevator. It is in a good location for touring the numerous chateaus of the Loire Valley. September was the perfect time to visit without the summer crowds.

Sept 1-5 attended a wedding at the Domaine de la TORTINIERE. My wife and I stayed in room 23. Anne and the entire staff were superb. The wedding reception dinner was outstanding. Our party had some special requirements such as gluten free that Anne easily accommodated. The room was small for U.S. standards but comfortable. My only comment was I...

we were given a lovely room in one of the cottages in the grounds. I must say it was one of the nicest rooms we ever stayed in. It came with its own terrace complete with table and chairs. The woods were a mass of colourful cyclemen. The swimming pool which was heated was spotless. Food and service excellent. Not...

Stayed for one night in August en route to Carcasonne. A wonderful chateau in beautiful grounds. Enjoyed a swim in the heated pool on arrival. Drinks on the terrace were excellent and the view lovely. A superb meal in the restaurant made it an idyllic stay. Many thanks to the very helpful and friendly staff.

This is a lovely place. We felt pampered yet, at the same time, welcome. The service, the food and the attention to detail are all outstanding. In a building this beautiful, you can't help loving it. We stayed for two nights and had dinner the first night - one of the best meals we have had in France.

This hotel is fine but its just not nearly as fine as we expected it to be. When booking this hotel you get the impression you will be staying at a magical chateau, but that's just a lie. The chateau hosts the reception and restaurant, not the rooms. The rooms are all in a series of buildings 100 meters from...

My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights here in August. The chateau is gorgeous and the grounds are very well maintained. The location is excellent, as is the food (breakfast every day was lovely and the dinner in their restaurant was fantastic, with a great selection of local wines). I had two major issues with the stay: first, the air...
