I would rate this hotal a 5 but the rooms along the street are prone to traffic noise so book on the off street side. The rooms are very nice with good showers. The restaurant was very good and the bar is warm and inviting. The serivce was friendly, a very nice place to stay with an easy walk to... More

Would like to start with how welcomed we felt when we arrived at the hotel. Our room was very bright and everything you could ask for was there. We had a lovely breakfast and choice was good. We did have a little bit of problem with one of your team members while asking for something and when we thought the team... More

We stayed 2 nights on a Castle visiting trip. Our room was actually a mini-apartment in the Bakehouse across the road, seperate from the main hotel building. Sitting room downstairs with bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Nicely furnished with old wood desks, dressers and tables, a large, very comfortable bed and the bathroom was very well equipped with good, modern shower/bath.... More

We stayed here for one night on a short trip to the Moray Coast. We had a very comfortable room. Small but adequate bathroom. Our room faced the road. If you're a light sleeper I'd request a room further back as it is the main road through the town. We had a lovely walk along the beach. Ate at the... More

Stayed as a golf party of four in two twin rooms. Very comfortable rooms with modern, well equiped bathrooms. Made to feel extremely welcome by Arlene on arrival, and we all enjoyed the variety, and quality, of both breakfast and dinner. Ideal location for Cruden Bay golf course.

Stayed here recently with my wife and 5 yr old son, while visiting family in the area. This is a lovely traditional building with spacious, clean rooms. Ideal really - we're not snobs, but appreciate good quality accommodation! We've eaten here many times before, but this was the first time we stayed overnight. Food was great as usual (including the... More

Room really comfortable and spacious. Nice location - walk down to harbour at Port Errol just right after dinner. Friendly and helpful staff - helped us find the local dairy that supplies the cheesboard! Breakfast one of the best mixes I can remember - all components of the Full Scottish were locally sourced and cooked just right.

Just back from a golf vacation in Scotland and four nights at Kilmarnock Arms. This hotel is a perfect example of why not to judge a book by its cover! The hotel has a wonderful history in little Cruden Bay, once a major railroad resort. While the exterior looks its age (they were doing a renovation while we were there),... More

This was the 3 visit in the last couple of months. Great to have somewhere nice to eat in Cruden Bay. Good service and excellent food. Would highly recommend the local haddock in breadcrumbs. Fantastic. Very friendly waitress serving us today. Will be back.
