The charming room boasted a comfy bed, choice of open window or effective climate control, and a picturesque view. It was infested by about 15 ladybugs, but they didn't bother me. Courteous, attentive service. No wifi except in the public lounge. Rickety desk.

This hotel is even more beautiful than it appears from the website - it really is in quite a heavenly location, and eating by the lake has to be a top experience. Reception was friendly, but our room was average only, with a shower which was broken and a loo which ceased to function properly - not good. Our real...

This boutique hotel is in a gorgeous setting with a beautiful pond, stream, waterfall and gardens. The staff was very helpful. , Francoise was wonderful with our wines and dinner, making sure we were enjoying our time in the parlor with a delicious amuse bouche, and then into dinner. The rooms are nice, even the small one we chose up...

Absolutely beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful. Comfortable and clean. Super reception. Virtually perfect hotel. The restaurant was as good as one could hope for. We especially appreciated the option of smaller portions for dinner as we don't eat much in the evenings. It allowed us to enjoy a three course meal when elsewhere we might have had to settle for...

This hotel with a its restaurant which has a Michelin star rating is positioned on a lake with a gushing stream. The rooms are well appointed and meals are served outside overlooking the lake when weather permits. On this visit, our second, we ate indoors in a very elegant dining room. The meal was good but didn't compare with the...

Moulin de la Gorge is located in a really beautiful setting and I booked three rooms for our family. On our first night my wife and I ate in the restaurant and I was gravely disappointed. I could not taste the lobster in my starter as it was overwhelmed by the accompaniment and as for my main course of nicely...

It's true what others are saying, this place is just superb. If I could give it more stars I would & it would be totally justified. You are made very welcome by the owners & staff who seem to appreciate that you are customers & not just passing through. We stayed here on our way back home from a 1...

This was our 3rd visit to this one time 2-Star Michelin Relais and Chateau, now down to 1-star and no longer an R and C. These changes in status hardly seem to matter in view of the homely luxuriousness and outstanding gastronomy that this establishment continues to provide. It is located in the back of beyond, and I am not...

Spent one night here to break up a long drive. Great location, very pretty and tranquil. Rooms were rather small but for an overnight stay it was sufficient. Didnt eat here used their restaurant in the village which was great.

After a long drive from the channel on a very hot day we arrived at this little gem in the woods near Limoges. We knew we could be in for something special but nothing could have prepared us for the amazing dinner we enjoyed. Some highlights: Foie Gras, Turbot en croute with a tomato Bernaise sauce, veal with mushrooms, coffee...
