We stayed here with two toddlers and had a blast! The pool was excellent, the clubhouse was clean and stocked with games, the grounds were well laid out and best of all the view was spectacular. Staff was so nice plus they made free waffles and coffee. Resort just across the street was beautiful and (although pricy) was a nice... More

Anyone who has never been to that part of the country has truly missed one of life's great experiences. The sky at night is breathtaking. The mountains surround you like a great fortress. People either fall in love with the locale or hate it. The park is well managed by a great staff.

We stayed here for 4 nights during our Big Bend adventure. Amazing views of the mesa and hills. The staff was very nice and the facilities were great too. Nice laundry room, group room to hang out in, very nice shower facilities too. Pool has nice shallow shelves for toddlers and smaller kiddos. Pool was COLD though! We had wifi... More

this was the best rv park near big bend national park. Spots are wide pull through so very level good water pressure quiet and well maintained. Spots are level. We stayed with a 42 foot fifth wheel on spot 88. If u do not like afternoon sun request a pull through that gets afternoon shade like 87. Also they have... More

This was our third stay and we booked it way in advance and had a cable site. Yes, it is a little 'spartan' on the foliage front but the location and views make up for it. Only a short walk to the Lajitas resort which has a decent bar (the Thirsty Goat) and the resort restaurant has a lovely dining... More

My wife, two 13 year old sons (they are not twins) and myself spend four days in Big Bend, TX. We have a 42 foot 5th wheel so we needed to find a decent RV park. There are not to many choices. Maverick Ranch RV park was the only one that had a pool so that is the one we... More

A rave review and story in May 2015 FMCA magazine got us here. No idea when that reviewer saw "grassy sites" but it's been a really long time since the "grass" here has been maintained or been green! Torn up concrete pad has nothing left but aggregate and we had to ask for a picnic table. Zero trees or shade,... More

If you are going to the Big Bend region and want to be in a great location, close to the state park and not too far away from the national park this is the perfect spot. The view is terrific, the accompanying resort (Lajitas) is wonderful the zip lining, restaurants, bar, and staff are enough reason to come back. The... More

Management is virtually nonexistent beyond taking reservations, assigning spots when you arrive, and taking your money when you leave. This place is a case of the inmates running the assylum. From the time we checked in it has been nonstop people running in and out of our family's 2 campsites. 6 year olds on ATVS going round and round with... More

This was our first RV trip and this resort was by far the best and most peaceful in terms of noise and the most outstanding scenic views. The activities were great. I played golf, went western style shooting and evening horse ride with Omar, a great instructor and guide. Just a shame we didn't have more time to spend at... More
