I recently stayed in this business hotel during my visit to Mauritius.
This hotel is located in the middle of the business district so there really isn't much to see or do around the hotel. Well, i didn't find anything.
The hotel itself is very welcoming and modern, there is a number of dining options to choose from, and a modern bar within the hotel itself, leading onto the outside pool area.
Although i was only there for one night there room was very comfortable, with a very large bed, climate control, safe, tea and coffee making facilities and a large TV with a number of English TV channels.
The food served both in the restaurant and room service was of good standard and always hot. The breakfast was a little disappointing as the tables weren't cleared, cutlery condiments were missing, but once pointed out to staff this was soon rectified. One thing to remember, especially if you are travelling from the UK. The breakfasts are served cold. It was a surprise when i bit into a cold poached egg, but in that climate, you don't want to be eating a hot breakfast!
Unfortunately, the weather was horrendous during my stay so i was unable to use the pool, but from what i saw, it looked large and clean and within a lovely area to relax when the sun is out.
For the time i was there, the hotel was adequate, however if i was in Mauritius again i would not choose this hotel. Not because there is anything wrong with it, it just wouldn't suite my needs. I like to explore the local area and i felt the location of this hotel let it down slightly.
If you are travelling for business, and just need a base to lay your head in between client meetings etc. This hotel would be prefect.

Now that's what we call a great stay. Me and my wife decided to go out for a night at Backstage more precisely so she decided to book a hotel room for us as alcohol and steering makes no good friends. Am amazed, though my wife made a surprise booking through marideal, we got a great welcoming, check-in took only 30 seconds, in 2 mins after arrival we were in my room. Also I was surprised again with a bottle of champagne in my room. The half-package included dinner and lunch, the food and variety also was superb. Its a 10 on 10 experience. Beside we got a 50% bill to pay on all drinks we had at Backstage. Isn't that great. It's a business hotel but to me it felt like any 5-star hotel experience.
Many thanks to Hennessy Park hotel and its staffs. Would definitely come for another great night.

Identical breakfast offerings every single day.... most staff disinterested and happy to see you with a table full of dirty plates and not clear them. Room amenities erratic - some days there was stock in the mini bar, others not. On one instance my room hadn’t been serviced by the time I returned from work and my bin wasn’t emptied for three days. Come on Hennessy, you can do better!

If traveling to Mauritius on business to Cyber City, Hennessy Park is very conveniently located right within the development. The hotel is modern with a quirky twist. The main restaurant features a sushi bar, among other delicacies. One of the highlights was the in house bar called Backstage.

Only said one night but a nice hotel with helpful staff. The restaurants were very popular on the weekends with locals as they were all busy and the bar looked like the place to be on a Friday night for locals without being too loud to disturb guests. Nice food in the buffet for dinner but was smaller than you would expect and breakfast was nice too. Getting a lift was a bit of a wait but as we were on the 1st floor we used the stairs when we didn't have luggage so not an issue.

Never felt so unwelcomed in my whole life! We went there on Sunday 29th May for a late dinner around 21:00. We usually go to Henessy for their sushi, but wanting to try out the new menu at Grain D'Sel, we exceptionally signaled to the lady welcoming us at SushiMe that we would be heading to Grain D'Sel instead. The resto was quite full with one or two empty tables. After standing at the entrance for a while waiting to be seated, a waiter approached us and asked if we made a reservation, which we declined (mind you, it was 9.00pm!!). He appologetically informed us that our order might take some time since they needed to serve a table of 15pax first. We had not even decided if we would stay and eat there, when his manager/supervisor appeared and stated that they were fully booked. No apologies, no smile, no suggestion as to whether we would like to wait; he did not even propose other alternatives. Truth be told, we were too hungry to argue at this point. So we told them that we would go back to SushiMe. To our astonishment, the so called manager said that they might be fully booked over there as well. What?! I mean, we were just welcomed there, with many empty tables. Didn't it also occur to him to confirm with the restaurant first before dropping this bomb to a famished couple?
So unhelpful and inconsiderate, I'm really appalled that a four star business hotel would ever consider employing staff with such attitude to represent them. Long story short, we had our dinner at SushiMe which we thoroughly enjoyed, as usual. Our "friendly" manager appeared again, this time escorting a tourist couple to their table beside us, all smiles and suggesting a menu. Really...double standard..They had already forgotten so fast that it was us "ti morisien" that was helping sustain the tourism industry during covid lock down. Now that they don't need us....Such a sad world.

Went for lunch at sushi bar Japanese restaurant and had a disappointing experience. The unlimited sushi was limited in taste and lacked the appetising and delectable elements of top sushi restaurants. Very disappointing experience. The squid tempura as utterly tasteless and the squid wasn’t well prepared. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she just took away out plates with not even apology. We won’t be visiting the overpriced and tasteless sushi place anytime soon, that’s for sure.

The Hennessy park hotel is not only a great hotel but it is also a great meeting place in the heart of Ebène that serves good food and drinks. It is perfect to catch up for a casual business meeting or with your friends.
Fridays are usually quite lively and busy with live music at backstage, their bar/lounge. Other than that, it is a fairly relaxed place to be.
Dany, the bar manager is really great at making you feel comfortable and taking care of your needs. From food to drinks, you're sure to get great recommendations or service from him.
The cocktails and drinks served are great and foodwise, we especially love the hotel's burgers, pizzas and sushi. Prices are fair for the level of service offered.
The hotel also offers other services such as a spa, heated swimming pool and a fitness centre.
It is certainly a great establishment for the numerous services it offers in the area.
