What a treat! Our hostess was spectacular and even arranged a private tour of her friend’s oil pressing establishment. The cooking class we took was excellent and we came away with not on,e a cute, very useful apron, but also the recipes on a beautiful book. We have e made the same dinner several times since returning home. The grounds are amazing.ygofgeous also. Very comfortable.

The location is spectacular with views of the countryside and olive groves from our room and terrace. The room was spacious and clean. Although we didn't use the kitchen, it was available. The breakfast was a little overpriced for what was provided but the cooking class was fun and the food was amazing, especially the Tiramisu. Vincent and Osvaldo were perfect hosts, providing directions, restaurant suggestions in Volterra and great conversation during our cooking class.

Not entirely convinced by this place. The two managers are very good at their jobs and look after you. The kitchen does a lovely dinner, but breakfast is less impressive. The swimming pool is excellent. But where it falls down is the the house itself, which is not properly ventilated and it is impossible to sleep when the temperature gets over 30 degrees.

We booked an Italian cookery class here for one afternoon/evening and it was wonderful! We made pasta from scratch, a main course of meet and dessert and ate it all afterwards with wine and other drinks included. You also get an apron and cookbook to take home with family recipes. Highly recommend! Surroundings are also beautiful and the class takes place in a converted chapel.

We stayed at Podere San Lorenzo for 4 days and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed a fresh, made to order breakfast daily and had incredible dinners two of the nights.(we ate out the other nights). We took a cooking class our last night and it was so much fun. The Agriturismo is a perfect place to take day trips around Tuscany. We would highly recommend staying here.
