We stayed at Villa Rioddi for two nights. As I write this we are finishing our second night. I can't say enough about this place! It is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. Our room is very spacious with lovely views up to the town of Volterra. The service is fantastic and...

Nice exterior and breakfast area. The breakfast served was also quite good. However, we found the rooms to be in need of an update: new mattress and bedspread required. The room looked like it belonged at a catholic covenant. The checkout procedure was also very long, as the host clicked through form after form. Ok place for the price

We only stayed one night but I would have been happy here for a week. Not really walking distance to town but plenty of available parking. View was great, room had fridge. We got rained out of the lovely pool but weren't unhappy because we ran right up onto the terrace off the bar and enjoyed a spritz (try it)...

We have stayed overnight for 1 night only during our wedding anniversary trip and... promissed ourselves to be back there for longer time once visiting Italy again. The Villa is located close to Volterra town, but far enough to provide visitors with silence. We have occupied second floor room with wonderful view towards the town, however, the Villa is located...

A warm welcome of the owners, perfect rooms with comfortabel beds, a breakfast to die for! The pool has a beautiful view of the surrounding fields. The villa is just outside Volterra. A nice hilltop town with nice restaurants and shops. Towns like San Gimminiano, Sienna, Florence are within travel distance. Absolutely a great hotel!

Villa Rioddi was one of the most memorable and most delightful part of our family trip to Italy. We stayed in the second-floor room with our windows overlooking the nearby Volterra. The family-owners of the villa did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We enjoyed the delicious home-cooked breakfasts followed by the walks in the meticulously...

Stayed here for a week as a base to see a little of Tuscany. Albergo Villa Rioddi sits about a mile down the hill from Volterra, roughly 1 hour from Pisa and Siena and around 75 minutes from Florence. It's very family run, by lovely people who will do pretty much whatever it takes to help you. On arrival Luca...

The views from the hotel garden on the Tuscan countryside are stupendous! The breakfast is homemade and excellent, full of local specialties. The rooms however was a let down. Its only window was the door (we had room A5 so may just at have been unlucky). And in desperate need for redecoration. Dark and gloomy with a rather too firm...

When we arrived there was nobody around. There is not really a reception, only a desk upstairs. The lights were all off and the dining area looked like something from the 1950's. There did not seem to be any security anywhere and we felt rather vulnerable. We had a room on the terrace which overlooked the lovely gardens and the...
