This was a satisfactory hotel in all respects. It is quite centrally located, they took our luggage to our room, and the room itself had all the amenities we would expect for the price. The roof terrace is especially fine.

Daniele, Paola and Andea conduct business in a professional, friendly and helpful manner. The hotel has been uniquely decorated with lovely artwork and an artistic touch. The delicious breakfast featured many homemade items by Paola and her mother. The family and all the staff made us feel welcome with a gentle and graceful style that is pure Italia. Bravo e...

We stopped in Volterra for a one night stay and always like to be in the city center. This Hotel is very old but that is the charm. The rooms are tight but nice. No air conditioning but it was a great evening and it was very comfortable. Right within walking distance of everything. If you are a big person...

This was by far our favorite hotel out of the three we stayed in Italy! On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owners who even carried our bag up to our room while we parked the car. They gave us a fabulous recommendation for dinner and things to see while in Volterra. The hotel has been recently renovated and...

I had a lovely room. It was very beautiful, comfortable, quiet and spacious. They have a very nice roof terrace as well where the owners offered me a free drink of my choice. Location is perfect, owner and staff were very nice, helpful and friendly and gave good restaurant recommendations. The only issue was that my room was slightly smelly...

Great location and good room. We didn't have airco and not a very nice few from the room. Breakfast was ok, we found the price a bit too high (and it felt like he tried to let us pay more than we agreed on) for what you get in comparison to other hotels.

There is a reason that Hotel Etruria is ranked number one in Volterra. Attention to detail, helpful staff, charming & clean rooms are just a few things that make this a perfect place to stay. The location is ideal and breakfast is delicious with plenty of choices. Don't miss the rooftop patio. I highly recommend!

I recently stayed at the Etruria Hotel with a party that totalled eight. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Andrea and Matteo at the reception. They personally showed us to our rooms, and carried our luggage upstairs for us (no elevator, but it's a 17th century building, so that's to be expected). The attention to detail and great customer...

This is a gem of a hotel. It is located in the centre of Volterra. The hosts are so welcoming and did everything to ensure that our stay was good. There was a very nice breakfast. The best part was the upper garden / roof top area. We will definitely return Thank you for making us feel so welcomed.
