I recently stayed at the Etruria Hotel with a party that totalled eight. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Andrea and Matteo at the reception. They personally showed us to our rooms, and carried our luggage upstairs for us (no elevator, but it's a 17th century building, so that's to be expected). The attention to detail and great customer... More

This is a gem of a hotel. It is located in the centre of Volterra. The hosts are so welcoming and did everything to ensure that our stay was good. There was a very nice breakfast. The best part was the upper garden / roof top area. We will definitely return Thank you for making us feel so welcomed.

My wife and I were traveling with 2 other couples and we found this great little hotel run by amazingly great hosts. They have great energy and love running their BNB and it shows. Starting from check in to Happy Hour to breakfast, they were the best hosts we experienced while staying at 8 different hotels & BNB's through Italy.... More

Hotel Etruria is locked right in the middle of the historic district and even though on a busy street (no cars, but lots of walkers) it was quiet. Many nice restaurants in the area and the main underground parking garage (you can't drive to the hotel) is less than a 10 minute walk away. There is no lift, so if... More

Well located and priced for the traveler on the go. A good place to rest up in peace and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff quick to offer suggestions of place to visit and eat. The small town or village is a delightful place wander its narrow streets of the historic district. Beautiful panoramic views to the Tuscan agriculture lands below.... More

Visiting Volterra was a dream of mine since my first trip to Tuscany a while back. So when we had the chance we decided to spend a night there. After some internet searching we found this small yet lovely hotel in the historic center. The location is more than excellent and the hotel was better than we could have ever... More

Without hesitation, were I returning to Volterra, this is the first place I would check for availability. Staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Couldn't fault them. I really felt that the manager/manageress were proud of their business and that came through in their interactions with guests. The room was wonderfully laid out and decorated. Although not large, the bathroom... More

This is a small, well run family hotel in the centre of Volterra. The owners were very polite, helpful and keen to make our stay successful and memorable. Though our room (31) was small it was adequate and had a tiny balcony with two chairs. A good continental breakfast is provided in the ground floor breakfast room. There is a... More

My wife and I spent a night at Hotel Etruria earlier this month, and were taken by the its wonderfully romantic decor and various special touches by the charming and helpful Mr Moretti and his wife. They clearly go an extra mile to make the experience special. The location is central in the town, though be aware that you cannot... More
