Spending the night in Civita is a different experience from being a day visitor. The town is practically empty. There aren't that many rooms in town. Civita B&B has three room above their restaurant. Actually you walk thought the restaurant to get up to the rooms. There are two rooms with private bath and a third with the bathroom next door.... More

Before making our way to Rome for the flight home we stopped at the Orvieto train station, boarded a bus to Bagnoregia and climbed the hill to Civita. This UNESCO World site literally stands apart from any other we have ever visited in Europe, as a mideival town with a population under 10, Civita is as enchanting as they come.... More

We started our trip off here for 1 night. My husband has been here before so he knew about this place from his first trip. I will never forget this place. You have to walk up a huge hill to get into the town (read up on the town, very interesting) but it's worth the hike. Beautiful views. Very small... More

Civita di Bagnoregio is the experiment that you will remember for as long as you life, I can guarantee you that. Take a time to spend a night there, in this sympathetic old b&b. The staff was very friendly and the environment idyllic. When we arrived in a very hot day and very sweaty after climbing there, the girl in... More

Civita is a gem and worth a one night stay. If you stay at the B&B overnight, you'll nearly have the town to yourself, because there are few permanent residents and not many other rooms. The rooms are a bit small but they are tidy and best of all overlook the town square, where you can see store owners hauling... More

Civita is a gem. Make the hike over to this small, enchanting piece of land to feel like you have been taken back in time. The views are spectacular, and the hospitality of Franco and Nina is like being welcomed by family. We came in, got a room, and were immediately served wine. Franco and Nina speak perfect English and... More

If you are reading this review, you are probably already sold on the town - and you will not be disappointed. This hotel is extremely clean and cozy, it serves great food, and it is staffed by the most likable folks you will meet in Italy - what else can one ask for? Just pack light and look forward to... Although walking up the steep ramp may be challenging for some, arriving at Civita is a magical experience. It is a medieval village with a town square to match. The only three rooms available for renting are the three rooms at Civita B&B, and each of them overlooks the town square. Whether walking the town in the day or night,... More

Location: The B&B is located in Civita di Bagnoregio next to the town square. While the B&B is located in a central location in Civita, the entire town is very small, so location is not a factor. The main attraction here is the town itself. Walk around the town and explore. Great views of the countryside as well. To get... More

I loved Civita B&B! Note to all backpackers: There is a 1 Euro bus that departs from where the bus from Orvieto leaves you that brings you to the bottom of the bridge, please take advantage of it!! My fiancee and I walked from the lower town all the way up to Civita each with a LIGHT backpack and a... More
