Rosanna and family have transformed a 13th century papal residence into a fascinating boutique hotel in the historic center of very historic Viterbo. Our room was huge, the bathroom modern, good air-conditioning, the bedding comfy, and we were adjacent to a medieval living room which we had to ourselves. The upstairs breakfast room was always filled with delicious pastries, tea,...

Rosanna is very sweet and helpful and accommodating. Palazzo is centrally located and decorated in a abundant and quirky style. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, especially for Italy, with plenty of heat (which I wouldn't have expected for an ancient stone building). Only complaint is that the shower was so tiny you couldn't help but dump into the doors and...

Being located so close to the most important landmark of the town, this B&B gives you a very homely feeling that you would feel very comfortable. The rooms are big with nice decoration and the common area is warm and cosy. You can always enjoy a drink or eat something. The staff here is extremely helpful and accommodating.😁

Viterbo is a beautiful, lively city, and this was a perfect, central place to explore it from, with a lovely host and good breakfast. Difficult to get to directly in a car, but there is plenty of parking within a 5 min walk

A chance stay in a place enhanced by artistic flair will make us cherish our two days sightseeing in Viterbo. Rooms offer modern comforts in period decor, breakfast caters for all tastes, the central location is ideal for exploring historical and cultural features of the city. Rossanna, the landlady, is knowledgeable and helpful and makes her guests feel at home....

We were set to visit this unique medieval town and visit the Thermal baths in one swoop. Just like any impossible dream we fell short as we only had 2 nights but luckily we stayed at this original 13 century B and B. Rosella was having a holiday ( the owner ) but her outgoing mother was running the joint...

My wife and I and two sons had a wonderful stay. I have sensitivity to gluten and they added some special cookies to the buffet, just for me. No problem with my older sons staying out late and our room was cozy when the wife and I went to bed at a more respectable hour. We stayed here 9 years...

Arriving there by car was a little bit difficult, especially in the dark. No parking close to hotel, had to park on a lonely street outside of city walls. Room was quite big and had nice decorations. Breakfast was huge, with lots of food including freshly baked cake. Everything was close by, all the sights, the restaurants, the shops. We...
