I joined my family here in July and wanted to write a positive review due to how welcoming the staff were. The residence is a simple establishment but is well run and clean. They have a great entertainment team who are clearly passionate and polite which larger hotels could learn a lot from. Don't come here expecting a luxury hotel option, come here because you are looking for something simple, something that many of us crave on a holiday, a retreat with friendly people, non offensive, rather cost effective and ideal for a family. Its peaceful and safe for young children with good play areas and a clean pool. The beach set up is close by with a minibus thats runs backwards and forwards all day making it easily accessible. The stablimento is family run, with fair priced sun beds and umbrellas and a great restaurant overlooking a beautiful clean sea. highly recommended as residences go..

Goodmorning, it was a pleasure to host you and your family at our residence and we are happy to have your ideal holiday. The hospitality is at the base of our wealth and we are very much concerned that our guests spend their vacation they expect, it also seems right ... I hope to see you soon with your family ... see you next time!

Common complaint can be 5 km from Vieste centre - what is the truth. Otherwise the place seems to be fine. It is only 500 m from the beach. Nice beach, friendly for small children. We used bicycles so reach the town wes not a problem. Restaurants nearby are simple but still really enjoyable. What does work against? Well, it is the organized business type spot so no family you face but hired people. They probably make a good job. But... first think you get after arrival is a list of MUST, some of them ridiculous as for example use swimming pool only with swimming cup on - cups are selling on the place. It is forbidden to use some things as you wish. We felt as in the school rally. The last but not minor - up to 24:00 the music near swimming pool plays much to loud many techno music hits. Nooo, please, no.

Kind Guest, in this case the distances are fortunately directly proportional to other needs, closer to the center closer to traffic, while we are inclined to relax and proximity to the beach. One of our features is privacy so nobody will know who you are, an Italian saying reads: "country that you go customs that you find" so than the list of the must is necessary to have a complete harmony with the rest of the guests that we all see for the first time. We are sorry for the inconvenience of music, if we had made this during his holiday we could have remedied. We hope to have you again with us on a next holiday ... See you soon, the management

Me and my wife had originally booked at a different hotel close by. Upon arriving to that hotel late at night we found that it was closed. We called the number and found out they had a water main break and were putting all their guests at the nearby Delfino Residence. At first we were a little upset, especially being 11:00 pm we werent able to really see the ground or the area we were going to be staying at. The next morning however we woke up to check in and after walking around and checking the place out we couldn't believe it, this place was nicer than the original hotel we booked. Everything was very clean and well kept. The grounds were very enticing, the pool was clean. The cabana thing that we stayed in was perfect, lemon trees right out front that I would pick lemons from and make lemonade. Should me and my wife ever return to Vieste we will definitely stay here again.

A wonderful place to stay! It is within walking distance of the beach and a short drive to Vieste and Peschici. The staff is very friendly and the apartments are clean, well-equipped and a good size. There are many of other activities on the residence as well, and it is a good safe environment for children. Highly recommend as a place for a family vacation!

My family and I went to Residence Delfino for three nights in July 2013 with a group of friends and we were all pleasantly surprised by the lovely grounds and well-kept vegetation, the clean and large swimming pool with adjacent children's pool and the general relaxed atmosphere which over the course of four days helped all of us to unwind and really enjoy our short holiday. Our apartment was a semi-detached cottage with all the necessities provided for cooking and storing food. Make sure to bring the following supplies: sheets, towels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, soap, etc. Unfortunately, the cottages do not have air-conditioning and we were happy to have brought a fan from home as the temperature outside was stiflng hot and did make it difficult to sleep on our first night there. However, the other two nights were pleasant and we slept fine with the windows open. The swimming pool area was great. Our four children had the best time and we cannot say enough about the group of animators which made the whole holiday superb: Sara-always ready with a big smile and a hug for our children and a good aquafit workout for me, Michele- the lifeguard with a heart who my children adored and are still talking about and, of course, Roberto- the animation team leader who managed to steal all our hearts with his big laugh, magic tricks, ability to make everybody feel special and his non-invasive, yet convincing way of getting you to participate in all of the activities he tried to organize. We appreciated his hard work considering that the residence is not a huge resort and the number of guests was very limited and made organized games and things more difficult to pull off but, Roberto did an amazing job. We really will never forget him as he was the main reason our holiday was extra-special. Filippo and Mariella run the restaurant which we ate at several times and found excellent on all occasions. We found the quality to be top-notch (notable pasta with clams, carbonara, zuppa di cozze) and we did not find the prices excessive at all. The bread was always fresh and the desserts were wonderful. Actually, we only tried the panna cotta, but it was so good, we had it more than once. Maybe the wine was the weak point of this little restaurant and bottled wine could also be on the menu along with the house wine. The only other weak point we could think of was the hours offered by the residence with regards to the bar which opend at 8:30 and closed at 1pm only to reopen again at 4:30 pm until 7pm. It would've been nice to have had the chance to be able to buy water or ice-cream or coffee at other times of the day. Maybe a vending machine somewhere on the grounds could be an idea? Anyway, if you are looking for a relaxing place to spend some time with your family, I cannot recommend Delfino enough...my boys are still talking about it and my husband and I have little bouts of nostalgia whenever we think about it...I think we might even go back next year. Baci a tutti i ragazzi del Delfino da Marco, Nicola, Domenico e Leno :-)
