We decided to return to this hotel 31 years after our first stay in the same establishment. We were made to feel welcome by the reception staff and more generally by all the waiters. Breakfast was copious and excellent. We were slightly disappointed by the dinner we had on the first evening, however. The bedroom was fairly spacious with a... More

Spacious rooms, great pool, an awesome location in Amalfi. Easy access to various towns like Positano, Sorrento, Ravello without massive crowds. Loved all the local restaurants and local spirit. Augostino and Domenique were best front desks hosts: nothing was too difficult and service with a smile was much appreciated. Thanks guys!! We had best room 4th floor with massive terrace... More

Stunning views of the coast, a nice pool, friendly (and at times hilarious) staff, and comfortable rooms. On the downside: the food has been variable, although the staff were always accommodating in changing it. I would have appreciated fresh bread in the morning, but I was glad that they made up omelettes for you. The rooms were comfortable, and the... More

I stayed for 8 days at this hotel, on a group holiday. There were 42 of us, and we had a range of rooms from small single, to huge family rooms, some with balconies, some with small windows and a view and some with windows that just looked at another wall - so check when you book. However, I'd recommend... More

Hotel Aequa is a fantastic hotel near to the village square and close to the train station. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The view from the bedroom window overlooking the Bay of Naples is stunning especially at night time. Would definitely go back again!

Lovely hotel in a less well known but very pleasant little town. The room was pleasant and clean. Good air conditioning but with an annoying blue LED light which kept my wife awake. Nice balcony. Basic breakfast. Very friendly reception staff. A short train ride to Pompei Herculaneum or Sorrento. Though the trains are seriously scruffy and crowded mid morning... More

We're a family of four who stayed for 10 days at this lovely hotel. I genuinely don't recognise some of the poor reviews posted here - can only assume that others are seeking something more akin to a standard Holiday Inn than a hotel with quirky decor, warm and friendly staff and the most amazing room view we have ever... We stayed for two nights in July 2016 and we were really disappointed! The building is probably around 40 years old and the only thing in the rooms that has ever been changed since then was the bed and the closets. the walls were scratched and dirty all over, the balcony full of dust and dirt, the air intake of... Our Family of four booked two adjoining rooms. Generally, the condition of the rooms were acceptable but what made our experience more memorable was the excellent service from the front desk. The three gentlemen that attended to us were each always prepared to assist with directions and recommendations and we were grateful for their assistance. The pool was a very... More

Terrible, really dirty hotel with rooms full of mould. Really understaffed hotel with no real english speaking skills. We asked to change the room because the shower was full of mould and the receptionist was not surprised at all. So this looks to be daily routine for them Last thing is that the staff is not polite at all. Try... More
