We stayed four nights at the hotel in a room with two balconies with sea view. It is more expensive but it is worth the money. The room is clean but the bed quite hard. The breakfast is very good you order what you want and they have a good selection of fruit, eggs, bread and sweets. You can buy access to Bagno Irene beach club in front of the hotel for 10 EUR per day, including two chairs and an umbrella. If you want a sun bed you have to pay additional 5 EUD per bed. The hotel provide you with free beach towels. Parking can be made at the street for 8 EUR per day - buy the ticket at the hotel. It can be hard to find at parking spot.
We travelled here by car for a much needed holiday at the beginning of September. Our original holiday was cancelled due to Coronavirus so we replaced it with a 2 week holiday in Hotel President. We could not have made a better choice. From the moment we entered the Hotel we were spoiled, cosseted and made to feel as if we were a much loved, much cherished member of the family. The safety protocols that have been put in place were superb, and we felt totally safe, from the moment we entered the hotel. Our room was a joy. The sheets were changed every day along with the towels; and there was always a bottle of cold water waiting for us, when we returned to our room after a day of sunshine. We had Room 303 with a double balcony so were able to enjoy the superb views of the beach and marvellous sunsets. The bed was really comfortable and with both balcony doors open, the room had a lovely breeze running through it. With heat cancelling electric shades; it made the room remain cool without the aid of the air-conditioner. There is a TV with a full Sky package including Films - but we never used it as we come on holiday to get away from this. The Hotel is situated on a very busy main road; but you are only aware of this when you open the balcony door; otherwise the room is totally soundproofed except for sirens that could pass by. Aside from the comfort and Italian elegance of the rooms, what makes this hotel really special from our point of view, is the staff. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. We were treated superbly by everyone; and the food is just out of this world. Truly Al a Carte. Beautifully presented, freshly prepared and being served with Italian Panache by Franco and the restaurant staff was a delight. Being greeted each morning by the smiles of Daniel and Marchello, set the scene for another perfect day. But our personal little star was Sarah. Not a day, not a meal went by, that she was not serving with grace, aplomb, and personal touches that just made our stay that little bit nicer. We totally loved this hotel and its personnel and if it wasn't for Covid-19 we would never have had this experience. So, THANK YOU EVERYONE who made our holiday so perfect. We cannot say how much we want to come back; but this time, we will bring my Brother and his wife whom I am sure will love it as much as we did. If I have forgotten anyone writing this report, please excuse me, but his holiday will stay in our memories for so many different reasons on so many different levels for a very long time. Do vist and stay here if you ever get the opportunity.…
Great hotel for so many times, over and over again. At first we where afraid of travelling to the hotel, actually we were afraid of travelling to Italy due to the virus. But my god are we happy we came over. Not many tourists are around but the hotel took measures which will blow your mind. Breakfast à la carte, buffet with facemask and assistance of personnel, plexiglass everywhere, alcohol gel at every entrance, no airco but open windows, face masks and gloves available on request, temperature is taken of everyone going inside the hotel,... Well there is nothing they could do more. Also the Italians thought things true. Facemasks are very common and even obliged in shops. Everyone is respectfull which explains the descending numbers in Italy. The staff is friendly like no other. The food is just crazy good. People should visit the restaurant of the hotel. The food is very good, as is the wine. We would recommend the hotel to each and everyone of you. …
The room has a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view of the sea, especially at sunset. You can walk down the promenade to all cafes and restaurants, a huge Igor Mitoraj sculpture and the fishing boats I saw from my room at dawn, were selling their catch at the end of the walk. Breakfast had a wonderful variety and also a la carte.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two weeks, as part of a tour. We had an excellent corner room, with a view of the beach across the road. The room was spacious and soundproof. The bed was firm and the towels in the bathroom were thick and replaced daily. The meals were very good and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. Excellent location, across from a long promenade, which was clean and safe. Also close to a huge family park. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance, as well as a small grocery store. The hotel even put out umbrellas, for the patrons' use, on a couple of the rainy days. Overall, a very good experience.
