Very charming stopover on the way to the coast from Milan. Warm and relaxed Italian hospitality awaits at this perfect rest stop for weary travellers. 8 room guesthouse (over two/ three floors) with restaurant/ bar literally on opposite side of street serving a decent menu at super reasonable prices. Clean rooms with all mod cons. Soft towels and very nice...

The new built hotel combines solid mountain wood with solid mountain stone. The entry reminded us of log wood hotel in one of those US national parks. The rooms are exeptional. Thick granite stone plates form the shower in the bathroom. Thick wooden planks are layed out on the floor. The walls of the guest room are made out of...

We were in the Italian Alps again this summer for Iron Bike, an infamous mountain bike race. As it involves a week of exertion and basic camping, we like to spoil ourselves for the two preceding nights at this hotel. It really is lovely. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are great. The patron is a real enthusiast. The breakfasts...

I can only agree what all other reviewers wrote. Lovely welcome, great rooms, lovely alpine decor. If no parking space available at the front, there is plenty room to park at the back. You can sleep with the balcony door open. However, there is some noise from the water in the mountain stream.

We stopped here just by chance on our way back home for an evening meal. What a pleasant surprise we had ! Mountain decor with a resolutely modern touch. Spacious natural wood tables in a design setting. The food was worthy of any luxury restaurant and cooked and served with the same degree of excellence. The wine list would satisfy the...

We stayed here for two nights in July 2014 as we were about to do a bike race in the area. The hotel was lovely. The staff were engaged and charming and didn't mind us taking our (clean) bikes into the hotel. The breakfasts were great, too. Vernante is in the most beautiful area - the foothills of the Italian...

Stayed here for two nights on a trip through the Alps Maritimes. Our room was very big and rather quirky, with the bed on an old horse drawn cart! It was comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. The welcome was warm and friendly, and breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed the spa, which we had all to ourselves! The foot-spa was...
