We stayed at this lovely hotel from 5th - 12th June this year. The initial greeting by Camilla was so welcoming. We were shown to our spacious suite ( lovely surprise as we were expecting a room). All the staff were great. All greeted us, had a chat, and were a credit to the hotel. The food was superb. Can only be positive about this hotel. We had a very short walk down to the lakeside and enjoyed the area so much. We had a wonderful week at Lake Garda and will return to the gorgeous Piccolo Mondo hotel. Thank you.

I have been staying in torbole and Garda for the last ten years twice a year. Stayed at this place first time as my usual was booked and I had associates staying here who booked for me. Was pleasantly surprised during my stay. Good rooms with air conditioning as this is a rarity and a must during summers. The bathrooms are super clean and good. The beds are very comfy. Breakfast basic like all of italy. Good cold cuts / scrambled eggs and cereal and fruit with excellent coffee. They have good grounds and two swimming pools including an indoor one. Large hotel. Nice bar and a restaurant that unfortunately I could not try but was told serves some good stuff. Location top notch as five minute walk to the Garda lake and all the hot spots in torbole. A must stay and I am going to be a regular.

It's all been said before: a well run family owned hotel with friendly and helpful staff; good location; lovely food (including gluten free options); clean unadorned rooms with safe and fridge; rear garden with loungers and outdoor pool and mountain views; small garden with tables and chairs at front of hotel near road; bicycles to borrow or hire - quiet ride near river to Arco or busier route by lakeside to Riva del Gardo. Very short walk to centre of village and lake front. Nearby ferry service for other northern lake towns (Limone and Malcescine are a must) or take a bus along the lake to Garda. Two well stocked supermarkets nearby. Would certainly recommend this hotel. The only negative I can think of is there is a certain amount of internal noise from other rooms in the hotel. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

We booked this hotel from Newmarket holidays and we had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us with our enquires (bus pickup points, shops, etc) with a smile and a helpful A3 local map. For example as our trip to Venice had a pickup time of 7:30 they opened the breakfast room at 6:30 just for us.The food was excellent, every night we had 4 courses and all the courses were excellently cooked and the house wine was ok and reasonably priced. The room was very nice and clean ,nicely decorated with a TV with many channels but only 2 (CNN & DW english) in english. The room also had a small fridge and a safe. I used the hotel wifi to get internet radio so I could listen to radio 2! There isn't a kettle in the room so bring your own. Our room had Aircon which was good but a bit noisy at night. Our room also had a balcony with a couple of chairs and a table with a view of the mountains. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the beach and about 5 minutes from the centre of the town where there are many shops ,bars restaurants and bike hire shops. We liked the area and went for many enjoyable walks and we also used the ferry service to get to other places on the lake. There is a very good tourist information centre by the lake which we used to get info. We enjoyed it so much we would go back to this Hotel

We have just returned from a very pleasant week at Hotel Piccolo Mondo situated in Torbole which is at the very northern end of Lake Garda. The Hotel isn't without its challenges but overall we were very pleased with our stay. Staff in all areas were helpful and pleasant. Our room was at the river side of the hotel and it was clean, and perfectly functional. Staff came in every day to refresh our room and the bathroom was absolutely spotless throughout . Free wifi is available in all rooms. The food was excellent and staff made every effort to cater for particular needs eg glutton free, vegetation etc. and if what was offered on the menu wasn't to the taste of a guest, an alternative was found. We found the hotel was very accommodating to various dietary needs as long as they were aware in advance. In terms of challenges there was a problem with the air conditioning for the first two days which lead to very uncomfortable sleeping at night but it was fixed by the third day and normal service was resumed. Curiously though, guests cannot control the temperature in their own rooms, apparently it has to be controlled centrally at reception. In terms of its locations the hotel is on the edge or Torbole a few minutes walk from the lake's edge. You have to cross a busy road but there is a crossing a few metres from the hotel entrance. It is on a direct bus route for either travelling east or west along Lake Garda. The ferry terminal to many of the pretty towns and villages along the coast of Large Garda is a 10 minutes stroll away. The hotel offers a free bike service and they are well maintained, a useful asset to guests who want to take a ride a bit further afield. There are two swimming pools one inside and the other is part of a larger offering which includes an upper deck. The water isn't heated but with 30+ degrees of heat that's not a deal breaker. So in conclusion Hotel Piccolo Mondo provided us with an excellent base for our weeks holiday. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others including younger families as well as older guests.
