#4 of 53 Specialty lodging in Todi
Set against stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, Acquaviva Agritourism is the ideal place to spend your holidays, tucked away in the tranquil Umbrian countryside and just a few kilometres from the centre of Todi and other important places of interest in Umbria. Visitors may read or relax in our common living area, complete with a large fireplace. The pool and bocce court are surrounded by olive groves and offer magnificent views of the nearby hills. They are easy to reach, even for those who may have difficulty getting around. Visitors can get a bit of fresh air permeated by the scents of nature on peaceful, relaxing walks through the forested surroundings, which are also rich in history. It is not uncommon to spot wild animals as well. Acquaviva Agritourism is located along an ancient route, which is currently part of the Circuiti del Paesaggio (a series of itineraries leading visitors through the local landscape), inside Todi county. This route may be explored on foot as well as by mountain bike and on horseback. From Acquaviva, the Martani Trekking trail system may also be reached, along with many other sports facilities. Acquaviva Agritourism is undoubtedly an excellent starting point for day trips. In addition to Todi, it is also easy to reach Perugia, Lake Trasimeno, Assisi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Montefalco, Marmore Falls and even Rome and Florence.

This is the most divine area of Italy. Less tourists than Tuscany and Umbria is oh so beautiful. Todi is the nearest town to this gorgeous agriturismo. Delightful Alessia is there to assist at all times and goes out of her way to help. Accommodation is in a stone house, self contained, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Countryside around is beautiful. Todi is wonderful, great shops and restaurants in medieval town. Assisi, Spoleto, Perugia, all within driving distance. Hired a car, driving is easy, roads quiet and well marked. Would recommend and go back again tomorrow.

A wonderful Agriturismo in an amazing setting and hosted by a very kind and generous family. The apartment was just beautiful, had everything we needed and it was a privilege to be able to stay here. Alessia and her family were such kind hosts, always ready to provide advice when needed and checking that we were all comfortable during our stay. The apartment was beautifully and thoughtfully designed with comfortable beds and furnishings. The pool area was just brilliant - a huge pool (all lit up at night so you could swim at any time). I could honestly pack up and live here. It was such a great apartment. The area is a delight too - so many interesting places to see and visit and not as manic as other areas of Italy which made it such a pleasure to visit (Assisi, Spoleto, Spello, Orvieto, Todi). Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. We had an amazing time xx

My wife, son, and I returned to Acquaviva after a 4 year absence and it was all we remembered and more. The geographical setting is actually perfect, with a western view across the valley to the hilltop city of Todi -- olive groves in the foreground. The apartment we stayed in had more than enough room, wonderful facilities for cooking and we slept soundly each night on comfortable beds. Alessia is the best host you can hope to find at an agriturismo. Warm and friends with all kinds of great recommendations. Umbria is _the_ place to go in Italy. Food, landscape, people. It has it all. If you are visiting this page and considering a visit to Acquaviva, stop thinking and just go.

Me and my 13-year-old daughter spent a week at Acquaviva together with friends. We had a wonderful time. Each family had their own apartment, but some nights, we used the kitchen in the garden to cook and eat together. Our room was La Spiga. It was spacious, clean and very charming, with dark wooden furniture. The bathroom seemed to have been recently renovated. The bed was a little firm, but that was a small detail among the rest that was perfect. At arrival, we got a homemade tasty pie and marmelades. Alessia who received us was a warm and caring person. The few problems we had (as a toilet that wouldn't flush) was fixed by her quickly. Alessia helped us to find good restaurants, a place to ride horses and were very helpful in general. From the garden, there is a beautiful view of Todi. It has a fantastic pool; clean, large and deep enough. We spent a lot of time there! If you love sunflowers, you have come to the right place. There are numerous fields surrounding the house. The weather was really hot, but we could sit in the shade of trees, and there was a hammock to relax in. The garden was dry, but that is a fact for everyone in the region. One thing to think about is that the areas has dusty and steep roads. Be sure to bring a car that can handle that. We visited Todi and Perugia during the week. Both have interesting historical buildings and good icecream. It's practical to park for free outside Perugia and take a minimetro into town. I would like to return to this beautiful and relaxing agriturismo, and I really recommend it.

Having spent two weeks at Acquaviva I am impressed with the place. The location itself is beautiful with the view out over the landscape and the town of Todi. But what really impressed me was how well taken care of we have been. We rented the whole place for two weeks to spend time with friends and family. The four apartments are separated so each family could care for themselves and have time alone but to tell the truth we used the common kitchen and ate together outside under a big tree most of the time. The common kitchen is well equipped and perfect for cooking big dinners in. The patio where you can eat has a lovely view. Since we traveled with kids in the age ranging from 1,5 to 13 we were a bit worried that the Acquaviva wouldn't suit them all but it did. One thing they all enjoyd was the pool. It has a depth from 1,2 m to 2 something so it worked for all of us. The pool was needed since it was hot somedays! (At least for us as swedes) It was also very nicely located with parasols, seats in the shade and nice sunbeds. The hammock in the shade of the trees down by the pool was used a lot! There has been a drought here which is sad since the garden is well tended but everything is taking the toll of that. Alessia and Massimiliano was very attentive and helpful with all things. They put in a lot of effort in making us feeling welcome and it worked! There are plenty of places nearby where you can go to eat. Alessia can help you to find them but you can also look up other agriturismos that serves good food. I don't know if we were lucky but we never had anything below standard. One thing that I liked was that it is very quiet. You can here animals farther away but mostly it is just the sound of the wind, birds and cicadas. (At least I think they are cicadas). I would highly recommend you to stay here.
