Only stayed one night - should have stayed longer Nice family run hotel in historic building - had rooms on 2nd floor overlooking back of hotel so very quiet. Large clean rooms. Todi is beautiful and location is great - right in the centre. They had a car park tucked away in the back streets which was free to use

Located just around the corner from the town square and nearby all the best restaurants. Really great old world hotel. Rooms have a/c which is great for Italy. Beautiful balconies for the upper floors as well as communal balcony areas for all guests. Would stay again.

Easy check in with nice staff. Breakfast is 5 euros, we did not try it. Definitely a nice hotel, not the fanciest but I would say 3-4 stars for sure. The friendly staff is such a plus. Will return for sure. Great prices too!

We stayed here as part of a big wedding party, and couldn’t have chosen a better hotel location - right in the heart of beautiful Todi. The hotel staff were also incredible from the minute we checked in, to when we checked out. At one point a front desk staff member walked us to our rental car located quite a few roads away, and another drove with us to guide us out of the small city streets. No other hotel has been so good, especially accommodating a large group and loud wedding party!

First let me say that Todi is a delightful medieval hill town in Umbria which overlooks the Tiber River and is well worth a visit. Hotel Fonte Cesia is centrally located inside the walls of the old town just a few minutes stroll from the main square, Piazza del Popolo. The hotel, in a historical building, has been tastefully updated to create an ambiance which seamlessly combines old world charm and modern conveniences. Our large room had wood floors, ample windows, lovely old style decor including floor length curtains and a brocade bedcover; a large bathroom with modern fixtures and even a bathtub; lots of storage, mini fridge, safe, TV. All was fresh and clean. Bed linens were good and there were lots of towels provided. Staff in reception were accommodating, friendly and spoke good English. Valet parking was provided for our vehicle. The included buffet breakfast was served in a large dining room with gleaming stone floors and linen tablecloths. Buffet included fresh baking (breads, cakes, pies, croissant), hard boiled eggs, sliced meats, cheeses, cold cereal, yogurt and hot/cold beverages. Common areas include a large terrace, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine after walking the town, an indoor bar area with seating, a lounge with books to peruse and the dining room. Elevator provided. Ask at the front desk to be shown some of the very interesting aspects of the hotel many of which were discovered during renovations and have since been preserved for viewing - the well, cisterns, a little chapel (now used as a meeting room), various artifacts displayed on the terrace. This is a hotel I would return to. Recommended.
