We arrived very late[ delayed flight] on Friday 3rd October and were welcomed by Katerina who kindly waited up for us. Relaxed breakfast served by the delightful Marie-Ella on the terrace was of a high standard and included fresh fruit/ ricotta and home made jam and cakes, all delicious. There were eggs, cheese, prosciutto and cereal as well.We stayed for... More

Beautiful faded Tuscan villa set I a wonderful bay with amazing views. Lovely large room which was extremely clean. We only stayed one night as we were en route so maybe the hostess didn't tell us anything about the area, grounds etc because if this, but we would have welcomed directions for the short walk into Talamone as described on... The B&B was in a lovely period Italian Tuscan Villa with period furniture. The gardens are beautiful as well. Despite the lovely building and gardens, the rating given is low, as the staff made the place unwelcoming to the point of embarrassment at times. Firstly we took 2 candles from a kitchen draw and placed them in 2 brass candle... More

We stayed in April 2014. The location is stunning - very quiet and peaceful in its own gardens with breathtaking views over the sea. The breakfasts were great - good strong coffee and a variety of home made jams - fig, melon and orange (not the same as marmalade!) and ricotta instead of butter was also a treat. Mariella and... This must be one of the most beauitful places I have seen. The location on the sea is extraordinary. The place is quiet, well kept, friendly, the garden is breathtaking and not too manicured. The breakfast, served but the delightful Mariella, is delicious and varied. The atmosphere is timeless. Sitting on the panoramic terrace admiring the sunset was a bliss... More

Villa Bengodi is an amazing place, romantic garden cared for in all corners, breathtaking view on the sea and the Giglio island, good although not very sophisticated service, the possibility to cook a quick meal in the common kitchen and to dry your beach gear in a common sort of laundry space. The villa was internally decorated early in the... More

I spent 5 nights with my two years old daughter in the 'La Terazza' room overviewing the palm garden with ocean view. 'La Terazza' has not really a terrace but a nice little balcony. It is a calm place where you can relax, listen to the whisper of palm leaves and watch the flight of the swallows. I finally returned... More

What a beautiful place. Spectacular views. Large, clean, tastefully decorated rooms. Solid wood, matching furniture. Modern, functional bathrooms with real windows that open. The people are lovely too. The hostess is a gracious, generous and speaks good English. The housekeeper is vivacious and enthusiastic, and is always happy to help. And the area is gorgeous. Breathtaking scenery, delicious food, and... More
