A lovely B&B in a wonderful town! We stayed 4 nights and can only say enthusiastic things about the B&B and the town of Sulmona. What gems! Marta is the perfect hostess - her vast knowledge of her region is unending. Breakfasts were delicious. The city is lovely, historic and there is easy bus access to the beautiful surrounding hill...

We booked 4 nights at this B & B and it was wonderful. Marta is the owner and when she says "no problem" to everything, she means it. I had car problems and she spent several hours speaking Italian with local repair shops and the rental firm to resolve my problems. The breakfasts were Wonderful. The room and accommodations were wonderful,...

Situated in a quiet street in the centre of the town . It was formerly a convent and has been sympathetically modernised. Signora Marta is a superb host and her mainly home made breakfasts are scrumptious. Local knowledge of every sort is given to you in an enthusiastic and friendly manner.

The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotless and spacious, with large bathrooms. Breakfast was served on the rooftop patio with a great view of the...

First a full disclosure: B&B owner is a relative of my friend. However, having said that this B&B is pretty close to perfect from an objective point of view. The B&B is located a short walk from the main drag in Sulmona: Corso Ovidio and is a short walk from where the ARPA bus stop is located near San Panfilo...

Not easy to get to as it is in the centre of the old town. However, worth the effort. The proprietor has beautifully refurbished the building to a very high standard and the rooms are excellent. Very clean rooms, breakfast was good and the owner was an excellent hostess.

I don't know where to begin singing the praises of Marta, Alessandro, Carmen and Il Marchese del Grillo. This was our 3rd time in Sulmona in 5 years. We have the Abruzzo “bug” since my family came from there. I was taken by the photos of this B&B and it's location in the historic district and decided to try it....
