My boyfriend and I stayed at Giardino Segreto for one night to hike Stromboli - this B&B was perfect! The outside garden areas were beautiful, and great for cleaning the volcanic dust off all of our gear after our trek. The rooms also have air conditioning and wifi which made our stay very comfortable. The location is great, super close... More

They have rooms for two, for three, for four, for five people, so it was perfect for us as a group. Each room has perfect shower facilities and all the rooms are decorated with care and very clean. One room has an outside kitchen. All is so romantic and easy to reach after a walk up from the main church.... More

They have good rooms but they don't accept credit card so we experienced some problem in the payment process. Ir was supposed to be a prepaid but in the end they accepted only cash. Moreover the breakfast is definitely not rich. In conclusion it's not the best balance price-quality

The Secret Garden definitely does have a nice setting, but that’s about the best thing it has going for it. It’s a little bit of a walk up from the port, maybe 15 minutes or so, but fairly easy provided you have a basic level of fitness. The views from the rooftop terrace are excellent – over the town and... More

First of all, it is relatively far away from the center and even more from the port. Even worse is that to arrive you need to walk up over an extenuating hill. Imaging now to do that with the luggages... Then, when you arrive finally to the B&B (completely sweating), it looks like in works, not finished yet, even a... More

Booked thru' hotels.com for a one night visit, and extraordinarily expensive for the room we had at 132 euros for two adults an a child, which was basically a wooden shed shielded from the worst of the heat by greenery. Yes its a long walk up a steep hill, nothing wrong with that, not really difficult to find as some... More

We would definitely NOT recommend this place. We had pre-booked for two nights. Noticed that they had "courtesy" vespa taxis in the yard that said Il Giardino Segreto but a ride was never offered and it was a long walk up the hill to get to the place. When we arrived, we had to wait for the guy to show... More

Located away from and on top of the city but within a reasonable walk, if you are in ok shape. The service is nice and the place oozes of vacation and relaxation in a good way. Could easily be used as a romantic getaway or as a quick stop-over for a climb of the volcano.

Clean very basic at the top of the village, ideal for walking on the mountain suitable for back packers, selection of individual huts, lovely view from roof terrace of Stromboli and the sea, torch needed as lights not always on and no street lights. hitched a ride on a golf cart and was charged 10 euros so print a map... When we arrived at the property they lied telling us that we were driven to his other accommodations. Eventually we realized we had booked more people than they could accommodate, and put us in a room in a house of an acquaintance. We had to negotiate and pay directly with that person, and the situation did not claim them face... More
