We spent a week here, booked after reading some of the reviews here. Both the caring hosts and the house will call us back for more. We had great dinners (pre booked) on two nights, and on other days ate in various Umbrian towns. The new swimming pool is now close to completion, and will add even more attraction. It is also a small working farm with olive trees and a vineyard, plus a duckpond. The wine served with dinner is their own, and very good it is too.

A lovely B&B in the heart of Umbria!! Spotless and comfortable room with a beautiful view of the olive groves, vineyards and distant hills. Close to Spoleto which is an interesting place to visit. Breakfast was delicious and generous with a spread of home-baked goodies. The hosts even packed some for us to take on our way back! Andrea and Vincenzo, thanks for making our Umbrian getaway so memorable!

I only stayed one night as I was driving from Liguria ( Montemarcello) to Martina Franca in Pulia. If I'd known I would have stayed longer.
My room was exceedingly spacious. It had a king bed, couch, two arm chairs, a flat screen tv and good wi-fi. The view was spectacular. One drawback is that the bathroom is shared. I did not mind, and doubly so as the other room was not occupied.
Dinner is an additional 25€ and is excellent value. It includes house wine. I choose to upgrade to their 2008 Montefalco Sagrantino 2008 for an additional 16€, which may well have been the best wine decision I've ever made. It was outstanding.
Now to the food.
The first course was melon with parma ham. The melon was one of the best I've ever tasted and was a delightful compliment to the ham.
Then came the fresh made pasta with tomato sauce. Excellent. Portions could be smaller. I finished mine. Wished I had not.
The main dish was poor. Strips of chicken on a bed of sliced tomatoes and rucula. The chicken was totally overcooked and over salted. The same was true of the accompanying side of zucchini.
Dessert was very good. Fresh pineapple with ice cream.
Then Vincent offered limoncella, which I declined. I also passed on the offered coffee. I did have some of the house red wine with I found to be very pleasant.
Breakfast was way above average. The usual cakes and brioche, with yogurt and a large bowl of fresh fruit salad. Also their home made salami, a blend of wild and domestic pig.
Vincent was busy making coffee for his guests using a couple of machines that use capsules. Why??. These machines make poor coffee, require expensive capsules and are a nightmare for the environment. Suggestion. Use a drip coffee machine or even better, individual Meliors ( French Press).

My wife and I were reunited with Signora Adalisa Fusco and found our second encounter even more enjoyable than the first. Adalisa is fluent in English, French and German as well as her native Italian and treats her guests like much loved members of her family.
The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. They are quaintly furnished as one would expect from a well-maintained, Italian farm home. Breakfast is included. The food is lovely and shared generously. She will always make certain you have had your fill before one heads off to the easily accessed sights that lie within a reasonable proximity. Adalisa, known to some as "Dolly" is happy to take you on a walk around the grounds of her farm. She grows olive trees, for oil, and grapes for sale to the town's cooperative. However, she also acts as vintner of a hundred or so bottles of her own wine. If you decide to stay here, please try Olivo, a really nice, country trattoria that is located just about 1/2 km from Casale Fusco. Danilo is very friendly and efficient, the food is a measure above and best of all, it's quite reasonable!
Finally, Spoleto sports one of the nicest examples of a Roman aqueduct that spans an impressive gorge and one is able to walk across it until rather late into the evening. It, as well as Il Rocco (next to the aqueduct), is lit spectacularly at night.

My husband and I spent a week in May at Casale Fusco and had a great experience there. The owner, Adalisa, was extremely accommodating and helpful. She is very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and helpful in planning day trips. Adalisa is warm, friendly and makes you feel at home. We enjoyed returning in the evening and recounting our day's experiences with her. It was like visiting with a favorite sister. Both our room and bath were spacious and nicely furnished. A good breakfast was served each morning by Alba, Adalisa's sweet and competent helper. The home and grounds are perfect, with beautiful flowers and shade. The home is situated on a hill with great views from the patio. It was very relaxing after a day of touring to sit outside with a glass of wine or cup of tea. This was our first trip to Umbria and we will definitely return. Hopefully, Adalisa will still be offering rooms in her home when we do!

We just returned from Italy and we are very impressed by Signora Fusco and her beautiful house. This Bed & Breakfast, close to Spoleto (10-15 minutes), is in a rural setting (vineyard, an olive orchard, rose garden and spectacular views). The rooms are large, with elegant furniture and all the comfort, and the price is convenient. Signora Fusco speaks English and is very friendly and very helpful with suggestions on places to visit. From her place it is easy to visit Spoleto (just 15 minutes), Mount Sibillini National Park, Montefalco, Spello and Assisi.
We highly recommend her place - Casale Fusco, Spoleto, Italy.

(We did not stay in Casale Fusco though we visited it during our stay but we stayed in one of their apartments 10 minutes from the hotel)
We stayed for a few months with Vincenzo&Andrea, who didn't shy away at any time to help us or tend to our needs and the extra mile; very friendly and generous. The whole team made us feel more like family than guests, truly amazing hosts. We enjoyed the homemade dinner and their own products (olive oil, tartufo, jams etc.) which are all delicious.
The hotel in the countryside has a beautiful view, a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, a bit remote but still close enough to have access to other great places in the Umbrian region.
Our apartment was located closer to the center, gated and with a big garden where our kids could play. We were also allowed to use the pool at Casale Fusco hotel.
This experience is a gem!
