Very unusual place- in a sort of good way though- Very Authentic experience- can be noisy if the place is packed- sliding doors entrance to rooms means that they do not provide much noise control from other rooms or hallway- air con was great- Bathroom good- probably the lowest bed I've ever seen - no more than 40 cm off the floor !! Staff are OK- but are not overly friendly to strangers---- but they do warm up after a few days- nice to take a walk out the back of the small farm. The produce is fantastic- Breakfast is adequate. Other meals(dinner only) are very good but are quite pricey compared to other restaurants in Sestri Short 8 minute walk to Riva and shops and beach etc. Sestri 25 minutes by foot No staff around during the day. Wifi ok in the room - In the final analysis though 62 euro is good value !!!…

We had such an awesome time at this place, Sesti Levante should be on everyone's list, what a beautiful little town with amazing waterfront and lovely shops and people. We stayed at this B & B with family and our stay included breakfast and dinner, lovely family owned place and nothing was too much effort - Loved it !!

We stayed for three nights in La Pergola and had a wonderful stay. The host was very helpful and friendly, answering all our questions, loaning us bicycles and giving us a lift early in the morning to the boat to visit the Cinque Terra. This is a real agriturismo hotel, family run and unpretentious. Parking is in a field behind the hotel, with each room having its own marked space. Internet connection in the bedroom was sporadic but was fine in the lobby/dining room. The ground floor bedroom was right on the street but there was no problem with street noise. We had a lovely meal outdoors in the hotel restaurant under the pergola the night we arrived. The beach at Riva Trigoso is less than a ten minute walk from the hotel - it is a much nicer and less crowded beach than at Sestri Levante which is about 30-35 minutes walk away.…

Our arrival was significantly delayed so I e-mailed to let them know. Emanuele offered to keep the kitchen open in case we were hungry. We arrived to order a fantastic late night supper (10PM)! Every staff member was extremely helpful. This was our base for hiking the 5T and points north (Rapallo/Portofino) and it worked very well. Walk to beach (easy) and trains (the most direct walk to the train is not very pedestrian friendly - recommend walking out of your way over the bridge nearer the sea).

I came invited by a friend and I was amazed to know that Manuel, the son owner, is a friend of mine since 25 years! Is really unusual such a level of food quality and the very friendly and elegant ambient of the rooms If you come over you cannot spend a few days in this small paradise.

We loved the location of this of this bed and breakfast. It is quiet, quaint, and cozy. Freshly baked pasteries were served at breakfast with coffee and juice. We also had a beautiful dinner in the evening. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is super lovely. 5-10 minutes walk from the beach. Rooms are super clean and nice and it has a lovely garden where you can get breakfast. The breakfast is home cooked and it has a selection of cake, croissants and italian focaccia. The service is great and you always know where to find them if you need anything. Overall it's been a really nice place that I'll reccommend and which I'll definitely come back to.

We spent 4 nights at the Pergola from the 1st till the 5th of May and I have never had such a great holiday in Italy. The Pergola is very well located and Giovanna the owner was very friendly and made our stay wonderful. Eash morning we could enjoy the tipical home made ligurian breakfast made by Giovanna and we ate it on the terrace which has a very nice atmosphere. We rented 2 city bike bycicles and we went to the down town of Sestre Levante with bike it is 10 min, because it is not easy to park the car. The rooms are clean and nice but can be a little bit noisy from the corridor, or if there is a family next to you. We highly recommend to stay in this house because it s really worth its price and it has a private parking place what you can use anytime when you want with the electronic opener they provide you with . Try the restaurant because it is typcial italian food and very delicious. Thank you Giovanna, Paolo and Emanuele for making our stay wonderful and see you next year again.
