Tenuta Lonciano, the lovingly restored 800-year old former nunnery, is beautiful. The outdoor vistas of the Tuscan hills and of Florence in the distance are breathtaking and can be spied also from the charming stone and wrought iron windows in most of the bedrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the herb gardens of lavender, sage, thyme, and rosemary, the plum trees, the... More

Tenuta Lonciano is truly exceptional. We were a family of three generations and there was something for everyone. There were quiet places to sit and read, a relaxing hot tub with great views,a lovely pool and table tennis! Breakfasts have to be seen to believed, a great start to the day - all thanks to Massimo! Our views from the... More

I've been booking with booking websites for a long while but never has something similar happened. Tenuta Lociano might be all the things the previous visitors wrote. We'll never know for the simple reason that though we had pre-paid for our accomodation we were never ALLOWED in. The reason? We were late! Indeed we were. And really really tired after... More

Dearest Christian, from ROMANIA I must reply, since your comments are unfounded and untrue. You should have written the truth, saying that you had booked a room at Tenuta Lonciano through Booking.com, that the cost was 87,00 euro, and that together with the booking confirmation you also received ALL INFORMATION regarding address, services offered, check-in time-span (from 3.30 to 9.00pm),... Our family of 8 could not have asked for a more perfect venue than Tenuta Lonciano for our vacation. The views are stunning and the villa is beautifully and tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and well-lighted bathrooms with showers. Each bedroom is actually like a small apartment with a sitting area, small kitchenette, and bathroom. The villa is very clean... More

I LOVED this place! Danielle met us to go over all of the property and local information including tips about the train station and directions to places we planned to visit. We also asked for a dinner recommendation. They suggested a restaurant just down the street and made a reservation La Bottega di Morello for us. It was delicious. (we... More

Being that we arrived late, Danielle made sure that he would greet us and give us a brief explanation of this marvelous location. Following this, the following morning after a nice breakfast a detailed explanation about Florence was given by Danielle and Massimo. Their attention to guests is simply amazing! Would recommend 100% Malcolm & Agnieszka

The place is fantastic - the building itself, amazing view... rich breakfast as well. The owner is so kind and helpful host - even without asking him, he explained how to reach Florence, what to see there, gave us a map... Wi-fi only in the area where the modem is... A little bit tricky to find it but the locals... More

This is such a fantastic place. The location, the owners, the views... Awesome. Had a wonderful stay and my kids loved it too. We were there for 5 days and I was really sad to leave. The owners are the most delightful people . They are very accommodating and extremely helpful. And the breakfast was finger licking. My 5 and... More

We loved our stay at Tenuta Lonciano. The old convent has been lovingly restored and the setting is truly stunning. Daniele and massimo are amazing hosts - charming, helpful and truly hospitable. We stayed for 3 nights but wished we had booked for longer as it's incredible value for money and the perfect base to tour Tuscany. The train to... More
