Friends and I dined at Il Terri Cerchio while staying in Florence. It came highly recommended as a local experience. Upon arrival we immediately asked if they took Visa - they said yes. We ordered two pizzas, 1L of wine and water with dessert. The pizza was great, the house wine mediocre and the desserts alright. Upon attempting to pay...

We spent two nights at Cercina Vecchia...just lovely! The hosts were incredibly friendly (we had wine & coffee the first night with Phillipo & Cristina), and met their two daughters, Magdelena & Maria. The animals were fun to be around, too, after touring Rome & the Cinque Terre. We didn't get a chance to have a meal there, but I'm...

We liked the place very much. Christina and her family were very friendly and helpful. They even borrowed us a child trolley that got lost by the airline. Our appartment was very nice 1 km away from the main house. The breakfast at Cernina Vecchia was exceptionnel ! everything homemade. The view from the terrasse on the olive trees and...

Lovely converted house, full of character yet very spacious, comfortable and stylish. The views from the windows overlooking the hills are breathtaking. The setting is perfect among the Tuscan hills in the countryside not far from Florence. Upon our arrival, which happened to be later in the evening, the owner(Christina) asked us if we were hungry. They have a small kitchen/dining room on their property where they were just finishing up with another family’s dinner event. They set a small table for...

“You're renting a home...which used to be a chapel. I'd pick up groceries before you drive up (about 20-25 min from the city center of Florence). Previous tenants have left a few supplies in the kitchen so check that out before you go shopping. BTW, our GPS got us very turned around getting up to the farmhouse...but we encountered a fabulously friendly neighbor along the way...which we enjoyed!”
