Terrazza Ginori owes this denomination to the trail proximity with the famous manufacture of artistic porcelains "Richard Ginori" for his production of the jewels and wanted objects in porcelain. The structure, a villa that goes up again at the end dell '800 and' is completely restructured and furnished with care and elegance, setting particular attention to the choice of every detail, from the fabrics to the illumination and the furniture to make it pleasant and family.

The pleasure of a refined environment, the beauty of the Florentine tradition.
Feel immediately at ease thanks to the kindness and hospitality of Mrs. Mara and the smiling and spontaneous faces of the girls who help her in the management of this beautiful house. The delicious and fresh cakes that welcome for breakfast every morning crown the stay at this B&B, located in the upper area of Sesto Fiorentino, where Olive trees are present along streets and gardens. Strategic position to reach the center of Sesto and to take, possibly, the train to the center of Florence, reachable in a few minutes.
This is what you can find at Terrazza Ginori.

We wanted to stay outside Florence and use the train to visit Florence. This B&B proved to be a very nice option. The host family is very friendly and one of them spoke fluent English. The rooms were large, very clean and nicely appointed. It was fairly close to the train station so we were able to take a 15 minute train ride into and back from Florence. The water in the shower was a little funky (would fluctuate unpredictably between hot and cool) but it was a modest inconvenience all things considered. Breakfast was a bit modest compared to other B&Bs. But overall we recommend this B&B as an excellent, moderately priced option close to Florence.

At Terrazza Ginori my family and I felt like at home. The kindness of the owner, Mrs.Mara Martelli makes the difference at this charming B&B just a few minutes from Firenze by train.
All the breakfast cakes and jellies are homemade and so good. The bedrooms have so charming decoration, each one different from the others and with their own bathroom.
We would be back again for a longer stay, for sure!

Let me start by saying that I thought about whether to write a review or not.
I stayed 1 night (luckily) in this b and b in a room that was perhaps suitable for the seven dwarfs in Snow White as I had to walk with my back bent over and I'm not 2 meters tall!
Bathroom outside the room which I knew I had but for the wonderful price of 70 euros for that room it seems really excessive to me.
2-storey structure with 4 rooms per floor, I decide to take a tour and discover that I am alone in the entire structure so I call the owner and explain that there was a non-working socket, it was cold in the room, the drain was not working and the shower that sprayed that little water everywhere asking at this point why the price for that room, the ugliest ever (underlining that I am a student and that not even in Florence have I seen prices similar to those conditions). I expected him to at least change my room but nothing, a paltry 5 euro discount! I get down to 60 deciding I don't want to have breakfast.
The next day I go down to go out and the lady in charge of breakfast (not the owner) lets me sit anyway, saying that I could have breakfast anyway.
I told the latter that I would leave the room at 11.30 am (it was raining and I had the exam at 2 pm) as agreed with the owner the evening before on the phone.
The breakfast lady replies saying that they had to clean the room because "you know there is a constant recirculation of people here"..., I have her call the owner and they decide to let me stay in the living room on a sofa as long as I wanted, they were the 10 am. Obviously I accept and start reviewing waiting for 11.30/45 am.
I decided to write this review because at that time no one had yet arrived to clean the room, in all of this I really felt cheated so next time I'll travel 30 minutes more but certainly without these inconveniences, taken into account crazy ride and prices!

Nothing to say about cleanliness. More attention should be paid to the details, for example the tea bags for the kettle are missing. Basic breakfast. For parking you have to be able to find it on the street. Paying in cash seems absurd to me.

Stay in Florence ruined thanks to this kind of B & B.
The day after arrival they changed our room due to water problems in the bathroom, assigning us a new "room" or rather an attic where only gnomes could stay since it was very low in fact they had to walk with their backs lowered trying not to hit their heads against the wooden beams at eye level.
The bathroom outside the room: old and shabby, where you couldn't move freely.
There was no fridge in the room even though it was listed among the amenities.
All inconveniences that they could have at least warned us about and not have to discover on our own with surprise.
Having pointed out the inconveniences, at 8pm on the same day they called us saying that we could move to another more comfortable room but unfortunately at 10pm they told us that the accounts had gone wrong and we had to stay in the attic-hovel.
I understand the unexpected but not like that, unfortunately we had to stay there because there was no room in other structures 🥲
To never again! Highly not recommended.

Were were so lucky to stay at this B&B! Mara and Silvia were gracious hosts, the accommodations were comfortable, clean and beautiful, with attention to detail in every corner. The breakfasts were delicious, filled with homemade goodies and traditional local specialties.
The location is at the top of a quiet street (excepting the church bells next door) in a very picturesque part of Sesto, still close to groceries, an excellent deli, pizza and gelato. We did not have a car and walked everywhere, easy commute to central Florence via bus or train. We stayed in the room at the top of the house (Stella) and were charmed by the exposed beams and the skylights. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Place is nicely decorated retro style, can be a good base for tours in all Tuscany and cinqua Terre. Great service and Sylvia the owner is willing to help in any subject. Recommendations on restaurants and sites to visit, assistance with flights and downloading board cards. Extraordinary girl we staid 10 days.
