We've viseted Sesto for the fifth time. This family run hotel is definetely the best. You get a fantastic cuisine served for breakfast and dinner. The welness with a pool and saunas is very stylish. However the most important is the friendly staff. We are coming back next year for sure.
Wonderful experience in Sesto. Great family hotel with swimming pool for the children. the 3/4 board is an excellent option for family with a great starters buffet. Near to all excursions. We recommend it .
Nice and comfortable hotel in a small city , very far from Val Gardena atmosphere ( that we also like !) . Managing family very welcoming , bonus to Sandra for treck adds ... All staff very nice and professional . Very nice and comfortable room , good maintenance ... Lovely diners , high quality of food and service , very nice breakfast too.... At short distance of many trecking possibilities including 2 cable cabins ... Only for pleasure ...
This is a great hotel, with great staff, great facilities and a great restaurant. The Sesto region is an incredible area if one loves the mountains, and the Hotel St Veit takes advantage of this. Great views from the patio /lounge. My room was very spacious, ultra modern and comfortable. Large flat screen tv, a bath tub with a separate shower, great WiFi and kept very clean. The pool and sauna facilities were kept very well and water temp was perfect. One can only do so much with CoVid, but they did very well. The masseuse was very good and friendly. I would recommend a massage. Breakfast was very good, but dinner was a crowning event. The dishes that came out of the kitchen would rival many Michelin starred restaurants. There were very few dishes I was not not ecstatic about, but they were just very good. The personnel from the owners to the bar and wait staff were very professional and friendly, I could not ask for more. They were knowledgeable about the area, the menu, the bar and never seemed too busy to have a conversation. They tried to satisfy all requests. My reasons for a half star demerit? With breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner, there were buffets. Only one platter per item would be brought out per meal. So, if someone arrived 1/2 hour later for a meal and the buffet platters were empty, they would not be refilled. Such a shame because the quality of food was incredible The sauna area offered very hot tea and not any cold beverages. and least; bar prices were a little inflated I will definitely return to the St Veit!…
Perfect hotel size, very good facilities, particularly spa, high quality food and good choice. Also garage available. Good location and comfortable rooms. However, best element of all: the family! Every day different menu, and good entertainment
A family-run hotel, run with seamless efficiency. We stayed in a Swallow's Nest suite for ten days in July 2018. The spacious room has breath-taking views across the Dolomites, and a large balcony with seating. The hotel is scrupulously clean; rooms are beautifully appointed. There is a good-sized indoor pool with seating area, sauna, and gym. Massage and beauty treatments are available. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. The staff without exception are friendly and helpful. Languages spoken include German, Italian and English. Special mentions must go to housekeeping, and to wait staff Jacopo and Lucrezia for their professionalism, humour and conversation! We enjoyed every moment of our stay, and hope to visit again some time.
Wonderful: You look through the windows and you feel in paradise The location is perfect for both winter and/or summer holidays. The hotel is perfectly located, close to ski resorts and to the town centre. Accomodation with all imaginable conforts (swimming pool, fitness, ...). Food is ... to try !!!
We stayed for a week of skiing and were pleasantly surprised that despite a lack of snowfall, all ski runs were opened and well maintained; the hotel is very conveniently located for access to the main gondola and provides a well equipped ski room; all hotel facilities were in very good condition, we especially loved the spa; the breakfast buffet provides a good selection and we were served excellent coffees; the dinners for our half-board were also a nice surprise - delicious cooking and a wide variety; the owners offered extra activities like wine tasting, walks, and others; most importantly - all hotel staff were always smiling and helpful. We certainly plan to return.
We were fortunate to be directed to the St. Veit by friends familiar with the area. Very clean and modern hotel with a fantastic view of La Croda Rosa and other peaks. English-speaking staff was very friendly and informative about local hiking options. The hotel had mountain bikes for loan - you can take them up the adjacent Mt. Elmo cable car before 10am for some spectacular alpine rides.
Great stay at a wonderful hotel with lovely, helpful and smiling staff and superb food. Perfect location for the many, varied & superb cross country skiing trails (buses and trains are free when you stay here throughout the South Tyrol region via a 'Holiday Card'). No need to bring/hire a car!!! Easy train journey from several airports (we flew in to Innsbruck - took just under 3 hrs & exceptional value for money). Little secret - only buy a single ticket on the train, as the holiday card covers most of the trip back for free - right up to the Austrian border!
