Been going to this place to start the winter season for a few years now. The hosts are extremely pleasant and polite, and very willing to fulfil all our requests. The hotel is very close to the lifts and has underground parking (ideal when it's -20 outside). The rooms are entirely made of wood and the bathrooms are made of stone. Everything spotlessly clean. The breakfast has a crazy selection of breads, ham cheese homemade jams and cereals. On to of that every day at 4 PM you can enjoy a selection of cakes and cured meats with a cup of tea. I recommend this place for a relaxing quiet stay.

Web stayed for 4 nights in July for hiking . The hotel is excellent for hiking with lifts and trails close by. The hotel is in a stunning position with great views from the rooms facing the mountains . The rooms in the main building are modern with great showers and comfortable beds This is not the case with the cheaper annexe room which is dated and has an hard bed . The service ,breakfast and half board are all excellent and good value ,. The owners are around and provide attentive and helpful service Highly recommend this small family run hotel

I agree with all reviewers who've rated this hotel as excelent. Actually is located in Moso, a short stroll from Sesto. Both villages are typical alpine destination which are truly gems nestled among the Dolomitis. Holzius rooms are large and spacious, and benefits very much by a very rational wooden furniture. Bathroom is separated two indipendent areas: wet and dry with a flush open hot tub and, err, the wc sections. Heating system is split into 3 parts easily controllable for maximum comfort. Every room has a balcony where you can enjoy a vast portion of panorama. Rooms are truly 5-stars. Breakfast and dinner are served in the same hall, which is a bit old fashoined. But menus are over-abundant and tasteful. If any of the dishes served you are not OKAY, the cook might willingly prepare you a taylor made course. Anyhow the bufet are rich and you'd better consider how healthy is a diet because you would easily end up over-feeding yourself. Early in the afternoon it is served a snack in the new lobby area which include biscuits and cakes or slices of salami. I'm quite sure you will check-out with your belly in full splendour. Food and service are then 5-star. The hotel lack somewhat in the wellness department (an great improvement could be possible by simply dimming the light for better relaxation). I know that a larger wellness area would make the prices ramp up!!! If you'relucky to stay there during a snow fall, then the magical of the Alps will make you feel goosebumb all over.

The best hotel we’ve been in the Italian alps so far! Our room was amazing, from the wall to the furniture. Large glass windows in front of our bed showing a vast Mountains view: simply speechless! Bathroom had an amazingly large shower. The lobby and restaurant are good as well. It’s also in good position to reach the lifts, not walking distance from neither the lifts nor the town center.
