A wonderful hotel, not too big, not too small, perfect for letting your soul unwind. Very, very friendly staff. The pleasant ambience creates an oasis of well-being. The well-kept restaurant serves excellent food, the dishes are of very high quality and what I particularly like is that they are regional. The wine list leaves nothing to be desired, simply brilliant. What I particularly liked are the very fine and noble South Tyrolean wines. Merlot Riserva 2020 from Kornell, sensational. The Pinot Noir from Gump Hof is a bomb and the Lagrain Riserva Gran Helen is a stunner. Many thanks to the sommeliers for the introduction to the world of South Tyrolean wines, thank you.

Absolutely lovely hotel. The proprietors obvious attention to detail shows at every turn. Bedrooms well appointed, great spa area, delicious food and lovely, relaxing reception and bar area. The service was efficient and attentive and we had a warm and friendly reception by everyone there. The location was fantastic for us (staying in May for hiking), close to dozens of awe inspiring trails. We will definitely return in ski season and look forward to staying again!

We stayed for the Christmas period (5 nights) in this wonderful hotel and if the initial expectations were high, during our stay, perhaps they went even beyond what we had imagined.
Beautiful structure in every room from the hall to the lounge with circular fireplace, passing through the SPA and the room (very large and clean but with a small box of electrical wires uncovered).
The Ski Room is very comfortable and takes you directly to the slopes with the lift; The massages in the SPA were very good, I recommend them.
I didn't give excellence because there is something that in my opinion can be improved especially in a hotel of this caliber.
Dinner is sometimes too elaborate (with really small portions) and the buffet is varied and plentiful but too repetitive (the prices of the drinks seemed a little high to me).
Sincere compliments to all the staff who were super helpful, kind and responsive in fixing some small problems that occurred to us (ski rental) even if in some cases they "failed" to provide information (such as the slope to take to return to the hotel or on the possibility of purchasing the ski pass directly at the hotel)
In any case, it is highly recommended

The Savoy is confirmed at levels of absolute excellence: from the lobby, finely renovated, to the rooms, always impeccable and subject to continuous modernization, the stay in the "Vinatzer house" is a compendium of kindness, availability and competence. Exceptional staff (special mention for Elisa: her brightness and professionalism are an added value of absolute importance).
The atmosphere is warm, empathetic and familiar: the Savoy, for those seeking relaxation and wanting to “unwind”, contributes to amplify the Dolomites effect, a true oasis of well-being and peace.
Michelin-starred restaurant cuisine, with an impressive alternation of dishes and an extensive wine list.
All that remains is to start the countdown, for us the Savoy is now a must.
Simply good, just perfect.

Savoy Hotel was an experience! More expensive than other close hotels, it was well worth the cost. Highlights of the hotel: the food is absolutely fantastic, the service impeccable and rooms beyond comfortable. After traveling to five different destinations in Italy, having breakfast and dinner provided for us, downstairs, to start and end our day, was such a relaxing treat. Each meal was at one table in the dining room saved for our family, also with the same server every meal. Serge, our server, so attentive and accommodating, seemed to take pride in his job— and epitomizes the professionalism and courtesy of the hotel staff. Breakfast offers a range of fruits, juices, grains, breads, cheese, pastries— with eggs, pancakes, any coffees made to order. Dinner is not just a meal— this is a culinary experiences with fresh ingredients, a range of dishes, with attention to flavor and creativity. 5 courses, self serve salads and anti-pastas followed by three ordered courses, then originally created dessert offered with a range of self serve del opus options. While we so appreciate that the Italians enjoy much longer meals than most Americans, with hours of socializing before any food arrives, we appreciated the attention to service and option to start with our own fresh salads, having come off the mountain each day ready for nourishment. This chef is as good as any New York chef we’ve experienced, and far more pleasant, speaking to guests after dinner ends.
We are not wine drinkers so can’t speak to that aspect but it appeared the hotel owner educated and served guests the wine that suited them. The hotel itself— we stayed with our family of five: two adults and three older teenagers. We stayed in a family room. We all loved this accommodation— very specious, so clean and comfortable with direct view of Dolomites. Our housekeeper was also a highlight— so cheerful, friendly, accommodating, and unlike the states where housekeeping is often still “not provided because of Covid,” this hotel is full service. We enjoyed the fitness facility, pool, and close proximity to shops and restaurants in town. The management— while others have said not effusive with warmth— we felt could not have been more accommodating. These people are not just running a hotel but take pride in every aspect of the experience. Attention to detail and to guest satisfaction is the focus at this superb hotel. Selva di Val Gardenia is a place not to be missed. While we did not see or hear many Americans at the hotel or in town, every person tried their best to help us find what we needed and make our stay what we hoped. Our hotel concierge gave us detailed directions to use our complimentary bus tickets to several unforgettable hikes, scheduled our car services back and forth to the Bolzano train station and made the trip easy. We cannot say enough about this special hotel, at the foot of the Dolomites and the quiet back corner of Selva, and we only hope we will be able to return in our lifetime.

Not good value for money. For what we paid and the category of the hotel (4*S) I would’ve expected something more. Service was dry at best. Nobody ever bothered to smile or greet, nobody ever gave information (they offer free excursions every day and you would know it from a piece of paper posted in the elevator). Nobody would remind you of the extra services you’ve booked, and the older gentleman (the owner probably) was very rude, the couple of times he stopped looking down on people and bothered to speak to us.

The room was spacious and modern, but it lacked some basic facilities such as a boiler and a coffee machine. The fridge was full.

The food was exceptional! And so were the personnel in the restaurant, really top notch.

The SPA was good too, and the massage therapist did a great job.

Would I come back tho? No.

Hotel Savoy enchanted us. Perfect location directly on slope, with parking in front of hotel, near the entrance. We had really nice room after reconstruction with perfect bed and balcony with very nice view ( direction Seceda pista). Hotel is very clean with cozy atmosphere. The atmosphere is created by excellent staff, starting with the experienced bartender Nicola and continue in the main restaurant with very kind waitress and perfect somelier. Dinners were amazing, we enjoyed every course. Breakfast was also fantastic, everything what you can imagine. Maybe one suggestion - one conveyor belt in the gym is not enough 😀. Anyway, thank you for everything, we would like to visit you again

Have been coming to this hotel for 15 years and as always I am delighted with the food, accommodation, facilities and the friendliness of the staff as well as the central location of the hotel which is ski in ski out.. The delightful owners are always around and available and nothing is ever too much trouble. Coming back in March.

Excellent stay at the hotel, the family is truly remarkable. Ski in ski out elevator is of pure luxury. Everything is focussed on the customer, ski room with high tech room card integration and brand new shuttle bus. The staff thinks along with the customer, great spa with all the amenities necessary. The cleaning ladies work very hard to get everything clean and they show great result, plus being friendly every time of the day. Highly recommend the hotel and will defiantly come back.

Not in my experience - we just paid for the stay + breakfast, this was during summer. Not sure if different during ski season though.
