We stayed, husband and wife, for 5 nights in the period from the end of July to the beginning of August 2022 as a support for excursions. Below I try to be as objective as possible and indicate in points:
Staff: all very friendly and helpful especially the dining room staff
Cleanliness: high level (nothing to complain about)
Rooms: the one we occupied on the second floor on the non-street side, medium-large in size for 2 people, typical handcrafted wooden furniture, equipped with a balcony, bathroom of sufficient size, recent and well-kept. Soundproofing: it is a subjective factor, as always, it depends on the location of the Hotel, who you are as neighbors, any external events etc... excellent except when the nearby Apres Ski is in operation (unfortunately I am a light sleeper).
Cuisine: I am referring to the half board option:
- abundant breakfast, sweet (croissants, cakes, juices, yogurt, etc.) and savory (excellent choice of bread, cold cuts, cheeses, etc.) as well as herbal teas and hot drinks, medium-high quality products;
- dinner: buffet with a varied choice of raw and cooked vegetables, appetizers, etc. There is also an appetizer served at the table, high quality first and second courses, excellent plating with side dish, excellent dessert and well presented. In general the rating for the cuisine is medium-high.
- Restaurant rooms: well furnished, good distance between tables.
Hotel services: there are reserved car parks adjacent to the hotel or in the immediate vicinity, lift, room used as a TV room, wellness room
Location: on the main street near the centre.
Price: the quality/price ratio is certainly excellent
I would stay here again

Just returned from a solo ski trip and found this hotel via the tourist information website.

What a great little hotel. Excellent staff who were always quick to help, very clean and comfortable room in typical alpine style, good food and an outstanding location for skiers with the two main “Sellaronda” access lifts mere metres from the hotel in either direction and the piste ending directly across the road.

There is a very nicely designed wellness area with sauna, steam and hot tub.

The only downside as some others have mentioned is that there is a very popular nightclub downstairs so if you’re an “early to bed” type then try to ask for a quiet room, high up at the back.

Hotel in the center of Selva very close to the lifts, excellent location in both summer and winter. Clean, wooden and quite spacious rooms. Breakfast and dinner were very good and suitable for every palate.
How can we not mention the spa with a view, small but very efficient and relaxing. Parking available.

I would go back again tomorrow.
Highly recommended!

There are a lot of hotels in Selva. But Corona is definitely excellent place. Location - really close to Ciampinoi lift and just a second from nice apres ski and bar. Clean, spacious and lovely rooms with ladina touch. Excellent staff in lobby and restaurant. Wellness with Finish sauna and Witarium - super, not mentioned jazuzzi and Turkish Bath. Anything I would add to the hotel practices? Some vegetables to colazione :-)

This lovely husband/wife owned & run hotel/restaurant was a delight! Both owners greeted us when we arrived for dinner. They were friendly & engaging. Our meal was stupendous. Service exquisite. They have a pinot bianco which is a perfect white wine! Each course was a wonderful surprise. Our room was large (great couch to sit on & read) and quiet. Great black out curtains for that 4am wake up sun!

We have come back 3 times now with our family and friends. Rooms are clean, spacious and location is excellent. Food and the restaurant manager and his wife are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. Parking outside is free too. Spa is small but lovely after a hard days skiing. Throughly recommend and we booked directly and flew into Verona and hired a car. Oh, the bar next door is excellent and happy hours is great value and friendly helpful staff (good coffee too).

We selected the hotel because of its proximity to the ski pistes and for this reason it was a very good choice. It is very close to the Sella Ronda route(s). Unfortunately it is also located on the main road through Selva and if you happen to have a room on the front side you have to cope with the noise and the smell of the traffic from about five o'çlock in the morning. The other problem is that below the hotel there are two bars with a lively apres ski public which results in a permamnent thundering noise from the bases of the music through the whole hotel. Again less so at the back. The food was very acceptable Italian, the hotel is clean, well maintained and has got spacious rooms and good bath rooms. Also the spa facilities are of good standard and clean.

Dear Sir., thank You for Your review. As You have described, it is true, we are located on the main road – Meisules road, like many other Hotels. It would be useful to get Yourself informed before booking or to ask us directly for the information and we would have informed You we are situated in the center of apre-ski night-life. There are plenty of guests who come back every year and appreciate the position and the services of the hotel. Kind regards the owner Vinatzer Gianpiero

The hotel rooms were spacious and we had a balcony overlooking the mountains and the gondola. Beautiful bath! The staff were all very pleasant and went out of their way to be accommodating. The food was wonderful and the choices were varied.

Though not cheap, this is good value for money. Location is great, very near lifts and right in the middle of town. The transport to Verona can be arranged by bus and facilities are great. The owner is not particularly friendly when he works at the desk but the rest of the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The single rooms are very basic but clean and comfortable enough.
