Everything about the Hotel Portillo is exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It's clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Food is beyond good and the room I got was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The location is great (in front of the bust stop in case you don't want to walk) and from there reaching the various great places... More

Nice family run hotel, walking distance to the main square, bus stops etc. The friendly staff are very welcoming and speak excellent English. We were upgraded to a suite so that was a nice bonus. Nice pool and spa to relax in after a summer hike. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during the summer season but the offered a 10... More

Great place, Excellent service! Delicious food, well thought-out zone of rest and relaxation! A convenient shuttle service to the lifts. We have been many places, but this hotel and want to come back Valgardena very beautiful and diverse place in terms of the rest! I advise everyone👍

This is a very good hotel in busy Val Gardena. Nice rooms, good quality breakfast (we did not have half board, would probably have been a good choice at the look of it, but is rather pricy) and professional service. Families are welcome, but probably targeting the slightly more elegant couples customer group...

We recently had a wonderful stay at Hotel Portillo. We are so grateful to all the staff for their very warm welcome. Throughout our stay all the staff were courteous and incredibly helpful under the excellent leadership of Oliver and Natalie who run the hotel. There could be a very long list of little things that the staff did to... More

Four nights at the Portillo 1966 in Selva, IT. Wonderful, warm yet modern hotel. We had a spacious suite with two exterior seating areas. The views were stupendous. However, the heart and soul of this place is the management. Oliver and Natalie are wonderful, caring hosts. They attend to your every need. My wife and I both had nasty colds... More

Having travelled extensively and stayed in a whole range of large faceless hotels through to bed and breakfast, it is very rare to find a hotel that offers fantastic friendly service, wonderful amenities and in such an amazingly beautiful place; the Hotel Portillo has it all. The care and attention to detail that the family have put into the hotel... More

One of our all time favourite hotel stays to date! The front of house service and room cleaning was faultless during our stay - friendly, helpful and went above and beyond whenever possible. Our room was in the chalet, which was conveniently in the same block as the pool, sauna and steam room area (there are two separate spa areas)... More

We have stayed in this wonderful hotel for the last 10 years on our annual ski trip and with the recent renovations it is even more fabulous. The welcome you receive from the owner family is so warm and genuine; The staff and service could not be friendlier with nothing being too much trouble . It goes without saying that... More

One week trip for five couples. The hotel is modern, clean, well appointed, and in a reasonably good location for skiing, although the ski in - ski out feature is overstated. Relying on the hotel shuttles is fine in the morning, only if you are heading into Selva, but restricted to 1 pickup point in mid-Selva for the afternoon at... More
