Went here for ski holiday. Very Nice room, spacious and luxurious. Very clean Nice food and Caring staff. We also loved the spa with a beautiful sauna area and newly build a outside pool to be used during winter.

I don't think I have ever been to a friendlier hotel. All the staff were wonderful. Welcoming and helpful. The fact that we could arrange ski hire opposite the hotel and they'd deliver the equipment to the hotels ski room was brilliant. The shuttle they provided took us to the slopes and picked us up again. Nothing was too much...

Beautiful hotel. Exceptional service. Everything inside is beautiful and updated yet it has Tyrolean charm. The spa and pool facilities are magnificent. The rooms are modern clean functional and thoroughly up-to-date. There are plenty of closets and storage for all your gear. They serve a great European breakfast with eggs to order if you desire. The host is a former...

Stayed here for our honeymoon in a loft room and it was so special. We had our two boys with us for our four night stay and the room was perfect, greats size, very well finished and lovely balcony. As perfect as the hotel is it was the staff that made it so special, they were always so kind and...

Everything about the Hotel Portillo is exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It's clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Food is beyond good and the room I got was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The location is great (in front of the bust stop in case you don't want to walk) and from there reaching the various great places...

Nice family run hotel, walking distance to the main square, bus stops etc. The friendly staff are very welcoming and speak excellent English. We were upgraded to a suite so that was a nice bonus. Nice pool and spa to relax in after a summer hike. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during the summer season but the offered a 10...

This is a very good hotel in busy Val Gardena. Nice rooms, good quality breakfast (we did not have half board, would probably have been a good choice at the look of it, but is rather pricy) and professional service. Families are welcome, but probably targeting the slightly more elegant couples customer group...

We recently had a wonderful stay at Hotel Portillo. We are so grateful to all the staff for their very warm welcome. Throughout our stay all the staff were courteous and incredibly helpful under the excellent leadership of Oliver and Natalie who run the hotel. There could be a very long list of little things that the staff did to...

Four nights at the Portillo 1966 in Selva, IT. Wonderful, warm yet modern hotel. We had a spacious suite with two exterior seating areas. The views were stupendous. However, the heart and soul of this place is the management. Oliver and Natalie are wonderful, caring hosts. They attend to your every need. My wife and I both had nasty colds...

“We stayed in the classic rooms, apparently these rooms have yet to be renovated (I was informed that there are plans to complete the renovations this year.), but honestly it was so well maintained you couldn't detect that it requires a face lift. But there are more modern rooms so asked about these during the time of booking if you want his option.”

“Room 66 (junior suite) is excellent quality and size for a skiing resort. The mountain view is breath-taking. Guests (especially children) using the outdoor jackuzzi may get a bit noisy, but this is only couple hours a day in the late afternoon.”
