The rooms are fantastic. They are designed to echo an old mountain hotel, but have modern conveniences and plugs. The breakfast spread is great, and then you can head out to all the hiking and mountain activities you want. Then, by early afternoon you come back to their spa or pool to relax for a few hours. Next comes free cake every afternoon. Then, dinner is a multi course meal you chose from a menu during breakfast. The quality of the dinners was astounding, and is the highlight of the stay. The value for the money is great. The staff can also apparently speak every language under the sun.

First, the hotel is the last building before Col Raiser and the train that connects to other slopes in Santa Cristina and beyond--couldn't be more convenient. Second, and not necessarily specific to the hotel, Intersport picked us up to bring us to their shop to rent skis, etc. and brought us back again. Third, the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. My son was sick and the hotel brought up tea and water. They don't serve lunch, so I had to go up Col Raiser to the restaurant there, where they prepared food to take with me. Fourth, our room was perfect for the three of us--we picked the Comfort Dolomite room. Not huge, but right for us. Italian TV doesn't appeal to us, so the flat screens were not so critical--though my son thought an HDMI connection would have been perfect for connecting his computer so we could see Netflix at night. Our only gripe is that the beds are too hard. We are used to soft beds. Fifth, the food was great. I read other reviews and don't get what the fuss was about. At breakfast, you can make your own apple/carrot/celery/ginger juice as well as orange juice, in addition to the other already made juices. The sweet breads were great. The coffee was good. The eggs were eggs. But for me, there was a gluten-free option all-around, at breakfast and at dinner. I didn't feel like I sacrificed good food for my diet. Sixth, the hotel gave us bus cards to use during our stay. We never actually used them, but they would have been helpful if we had ventured more out. The walk to Santa Cristina center is 20 minutes and uphill all the way back. Not bad but after a full day of skiing, sometimes too much. Lastly, my teenage sons thought there wasn’t enough to do in Santa Cristina. That gave me peace.

This hotel deserves more than 3 stars! Rooms, food and service are great! Location is on the sunny side of Val Gardena and there are plenty of choices for different activities if you don't ski. Our daughter and her friend would like to thank the Hotel Jagerheim stuff for such great service. The hotel team is very kind and they always smile, they give you chocolates and other things you ask for. They are so creative in making the atmosphere welcoming and warm!

Our family of 5 had a fabulous week here in a large family room. The room had 2 bathrooms and plenty of storage space for the 5 of us and all our belongings, Hotel is situated right by the Col Raiser lift and so is very convenient and has lovely views too. A perfect location. Staff were very friendly, especially the 2 girls on reception and the breakfast, dinner and afternoon cakes were great! Don't be put off by comments about the Wellness Centre - our teenagers used the facilities with a towel around them and many there were doing the same. If you don't feel comfortable nude that seemed to work (and definitely suited many there during the week we stayed). The spa and steam room were wonderful after a cold day on the slopes and was a highlight of our days. My only criticism is that there should be either a kettle in the rooms or hot water and tea etc available. A cup of tea for one is 3 euros and after a week with 5 of us that was a huge extra. Water should also be available at dinner and you should not have to buy bottled water - bad for the environment and very costly for 7 nights. If you are paying to stay half board and also buying wine and other drinks then water really should be supplied! Overall a great stay and I would very much recommend.

I would strongly recommend you to make your reservation here. The rooms have a very high standard and the situation close to Col Raiser is perfect. You should also use the Spa area. So good!! Food is great! I would strongly advise you to take the half-board option with dinner. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff is great as well. This is the place. Don’t hesitate.
