In this hotel, you can enjoy the mountains all day long - hike routes (and cable car) are in walking distance and you can enjoy amazing views from the hotel from many spots: the terrace, the pool, the SPA. Dinner (several courses everyday) was included and could not have been better! They also have great Italian wine.

We chose to visit Schenna at the last minute after 4 weeks in Europe and couldn't have been happier with our selection. We took the bus from Munich to Schenna, and when we arrived the owner of the hotel picked us up and drove us back to the hotel. We quickly realised he didn't speak English and we didn't speak German but managed a few hand signals to express oursleves! During our 4 night stay at the hotel, we were the only English speaking guests! The staff tried their best to communicate with us and generally had their best English-speakers serve us. They also specially made up an English version of the dinner menu and morning guide for us! On our final night, we umm-ed and arr-ed about asking how we get to the bus station in the morning.. But while we were at dinner, they came over and asked what time we needed to be there and offered to drive us to the bus stop. At 6am the next the morning, the owner made us a cappucino and gave us a packed breakfast of sandwiches and fruit to take with us and then drove us to the bus stop. We felt like family! We spent one week in this hotel during Christmas holidays. Our room was big, beautiful and cleaned as all the other common areas in the hotel. We travelled with our 17months baby and staff was so kind to satisfy all our needs (especially the food for the baby). There is also a special room for babies and kids with different kind of plays and it was very useful for us. Even the SPA is nice: big swimming pool and relax area with sauna inside, and beautiful little garden with swimming pool and fantastic view on the valley and the hills outside. The hotel is even well located: it is near Merano and Bolzano. We suggest this hotel for couples and for families with children.
