This hotel is tired, but functional and strategically located near the historic old town of Scalea. Walking to the old tower and town in the evening was easy and safe. The staff was accommodating and service was fine. The hotel offers to help schedule excursions for guests. The room was spartan, but clean; it is in need of a make-over.... More

This hotel is a hidden gem. The hotel is perfectly situated by the beach and near town center with a superb pool and beach area. The rooms are well appointed and have great balcony areas. Facing the sea. Great tv system in the room, Skye......rooms have safe and small fridge. The staff are all very friendly and go out of... More

we stayed three nights, only wish we could have stayed more. The staff were exceedingly accommodating in every way. Service was excellent as was the food provided during lunch at the beach café on the premises right by the deckchairs and umbrellas and especially so at dinner in the downstairs restaurant. On one evening, a local accordionist provided dazzling entertainment... More

The room was quaint but very clean & comfortable with nice balcony with a view of the ocean & hotel pool. The bathroom had a space age looking shower that could send water at you from your head to your feet, quite relaxing. The breakfast area was large & the food was good. There are several restaurants close by but... More

I have stayed at this hotel many times and have a lovely experience every time. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Great location in the heart of town. There are shops and restaurants close by and the main street area is only a short walk away. The beach is lovely

The hotel is very good, in an handsome place, Scalea, very close to San Nicola Arcella and Arco Magno Beach. The hotel crew is very kindly, and the Animation crew is very very funny! A very beautiful cheap place, but with very high contents!!!

I had originally booked 2 nights here on my way down south in Calabria, but due to some "actions" by Italian train personell many trains were cancelled so I arrived 20 hours late. I did manage to send a message through the booking.com system, and the hotel had kindly rebooked me so that I didn't even have to pay for... More

Let me start by saying that this is not the most up to date hotel that I have stayed in but turned out to be perfect for our group. Eight of us had travelled to Scalea for the Peperoncino(chilli) Festival held in nearby Diamante. One of our group(Becky)has an apartment in the village and before it is renovated stays here... One of the problems with writing this review is that I've already been in better, which to a degree, taints it. There's nothing wrong with the hotel at all - it's clean, functional, and sits in a good position on the road - very central within the town itself. It has an unheated swimming pool, and the breakfast there is... More
