Just back from this hotel - one word , terrific. We didn't book here originally. The place we had booked - well, lets just say they let us down . A friend of ours was already staying there and helped us secure a couple of rooms. The staff there really helped us - as you can imagine ,being let down with our first booking we needed all the help we could get. The rooms were lovely - the villa itself was beautiful with its pool and fruit trees all around was stunning.Great week spent at Relais Villa Savarese.
We stayed 2 nights at this lovely place. We had a car and used this hotel as a base for around Amalfi coast tour and it was excellent. Our room had wonderful small garden with citrus trees. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Beds are comfortable but can’t say the same about pillows. Overall we loved our stay very much and would stay again if come back.
Such a beautiful little oasis. We stayed here for 2 nights, 8-10 Sept on our trip around Italy. The room was amazing, junior suite overlooking the pool. Breakfast was really good. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Being in the pool felt like having your very own villa. Just be careful, the mosquitoes come out to feast around 5pm.
We stayed at this Beautiful villa as a return visit after enjoying it so much 4 years ago. The building is just stunning and the pool area lovely and relaxing. The area is great as away from the hustle & bustle of Sorrento Just a couple of disappointments on this visit. One of the rooms had some quite significant noise from the room above. The most important thing for us is peace and quiet and we did have to mention it but it only improved a little, the other thing that brought us back following the last visit was the fabulous breakfast offerings. Unfortunately this is nothing like it used to be and is rather basic Still enjoyed the stay but not just quite the perfection we had before A return visit would definitely need a quiet room.
The villa is set in beautiful gardens and is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in. The pool area is surrounded by orange & lemon trees and it's a lovely area to sit and chill. Breakfast was nice and there was enough choice for a light meal. Drinks and food are also served by the pool and what we had was really good. Our room ( No 4 ) was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was huge. My only criticism about the room was that we had no view or access to outside. The 2 windows let in lots of light but were were at head height, facing a wall and barred. I found this a little claustrophobic and is the only reason I haven't given this hotel full marks. We were also a little surprised to be charged for the chocolate biscuits that had been left beside the kettle. We wrongly assumed these were complimentary. All staff were very friendly and welcoming and there was someone on the front desk 24 hours to welcome you back from a day or night out. S'Agnello is a lot quieter than Sorrento, which was nice, but there is a good selection of restaurants and bars nearby. It's a 5 minute walk to the coast/beach club and a 5 minute walk to the main road where you can catch a bus into Sorrento. It's a 30 minute walk into the centre & marina, or a 25euro taxi trip so the bus was a good option at the end of a busy day, just get your ticket from the local tabac. Overall we had a lovely stay at Villa Savarese and would recommend.…
We stayed in room 5 for 1 week end of May/beginning of June '22. The room and bathroom was spacious, beautiful and really private. Although not advertised at the time of booking, we also had a cute terrace which was an added bonus. Breakfast was a little basic but was tasty enough. The gardens were stunning and sitting on a sun lounger beside the pool surrounded by lemon trees with smooth jazz playing softly from speakers was a definite highlight! The location was a little tucked out of town (around a 25 min walk from the centre of Sorrento) which was nice to be away from the really touristy areas. Our only suggestion would be for the hotel to consider providing a shuttle service a few times a day to the centre, as the walk was tiring after a day of sightseeing on foot. Thank you to the staff who couldn't do enough for us to make our stay memorable, we will never forget the wonderful time we had there.…
The hotel sits in its own secluded grounds in Sant Agnello which is a quieter part of Sorrento. It is a green oasis with a lovely pool and gardens and yet it is only a short walk to a range of good restaurants and a few bars. The hotel is stylish and really well maintained. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It’s almost like staying in a rich friends house rather than a hotel. The deluxe rooms are lovely although ours had a shower over the bath which was a little awkward to negotiate. Breakfast is a little limited but tasty and served in a beautiful large garden room.
The most wonderful place we've been. Privacy, peace and very friendly people. Responsiveness and sincerity. Everything to make guests feel good. Spacious room, trendy interior. Private pool, bathrobes and towels are provided. The staff is just great.
We stayed here for 4 nights in early October. The villa is absolutely beautiful. Our room was really spacious, beautifully furnished and had everything we could need. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was about a 25 minute walk into main Sorrento which was fine but be prepared for that. There are restaurants and bars nearer to this hotel though which were also lovely. It’s easy to access the station and then it’s 30 minutes to Pompeii on the train. Overall a great base to explore the Amalfi coast in a beautiful, tranquil hotel surround by lovely gardens and fruit trees.
We had a very lovely stay at Villa Savarese, possibly our best stay ever! Mauro and the other employees do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible (for example carry your suitcases and arrange tours). The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. The pool area is green and calm. The breakfast is amazing with very nice china. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood. You can walk to the center of Sorrento (20 min) or to the port (30 min). We would definitely recommond staying here if you want to explore the Amalfi coast. Villa Savarese is an oasis of peace and feels like home!
