Had a great time staying at this hotel in May 2013. The public areas are fabulous, maintained to a high standard and very clean. The staff are friendly and obliging,(they opened the restaurant early for us on our departure day as we had an early pick up). The rooms were clean and adequate, although I would agree with other reviews... More

If this is Italian 4 * I dread to think what 1* or 2* tar is. Badly in need of refurbishing. Set dinner menu was awful and breakfast was extremely poor. The scrambled eggs(?)were consistently cold and staff did not seem to give a damn. Tinned fruit, plastic cheese and salami type meats and often Buffet plates were empty. Packed... More

My partner and I stayed here in July 2012 and had an absolutely fantastic time. The area was perfect 5 minutes from the train station to pompei/herculeneum etc and 15/20 min walk from Sorrento. Lovely restaraunts within walking distance and even better ones in Sorrento itself. The hotels entrance is lovely you walk up a long driveway (from where you... More

Had a great week staying at this hotel. It was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was adequate as was the evening meal. All staff were friendly and helpful. For the price was very good value. The pool and pool area were fabulous. We went at a time when the pool was only just opened so was a bit cool.

I stayed at this hotel for a week in July and all I can say is AMAZING! The food every evening was great, breakfast was a bit basic but enjoyable. The poolside bar/resteraunt had a wide selection of food that was delicious and a lovely place to sit and enjoy lunch. The pool area is very clean and well maintained... More

My son and I stayed here so we could visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and other bits in the area around. We wanted to take the train instead of doing tourist coaches so I picked the hotel as it was close to the Sant'Agnello train station. It is about a 5 minute walk away although we had to cross the one... More

My girlfriend and I have stayed here for eight nights and had a nice time. Cons: - a bit far away from Sorrento city centre if you go on foot but there is a free hotel shuttle that runs pretty often - breakfast is absolutely the same every single day so after three days you don't know what to eat... We got a bargain room and even though we were there for two less days due to difficult flight times were weren't given an upgrade. The room was on ground floor looking on to kitchen block with noise of the pool generator but at was ok if window was closed. The room itself was perfectly fine but little things like... More

On the last leg of our journey to Italy we stayed at the Grand Hotel Parco del Sole for three nights (Oct 4-6). We were part of a group from Quebec, Canada. This hotel is like a small resort. The most beautiful part of this hotel has got to be the outdoor pool area, wow. Very, very nice. The pool... More

The drive in to the hotel is unimposing, but then you see a fine fountain and, looking left, there is an open tiled garden path towards the hotel entrance. Reception area fairly standard but, just a few steps up, you find a lovely modern pool area with plenty of sun beds framed against a backdrop of cliffs, thus giving rise... More
