Ah dear, I so wanted this hotel to be better than what it was. I didn't have many expectations and it still didn't hit the mark. The location is great with the train station 10 mins walk away and a 20 min unpleasant walk into sorrento Town. The hotel had a free shuttle service but we never used it. Our rooms were large enough but quite tired and falling far from the 4* all inclusive mark with no tea and coffee facilities, an empty fridge that only got filled with a bottle of water and no iron or ironing board, things honestly I would consider basics in 2022. The pool and the grounds are fine but it's just not big enough for the amount of guests it has. The pool does have a towel service and honestly I'm no snob but they are old tatty threadbare over sized dish cloths. The hotel itself is like something out of the twilight zone inside and we nicknamed the main eating area "Emerald city" with its garish over baring green decor. All quite funny until its not funny any more. The food, wow the food. What a colossal let down. The main reason we go all Inc is because we have children and so we save money in the long run. That was a mistake, we ate out several times because facing the god awful food just wasn't worth thinking about. The outdoor bbq was nice in theory, an the effort was there but the food just feel so far from the mark it was almost inedible. We never ate any deserts after trying the first one, they were gross and the drinks weren't much better. The only thing we could consistently drink was the beer, everything else was cheap, syrupy and undrinkable and don't even get me started in the coffee it honestly tasted like really thick black bistro gravy. I love coffee, this was not coffee. I had to lower myself and buy nescafe from the supermarket and took it to breakfast. I'm sure back in is heyday this place was amazing but in 2022 standing aside by side with other 4* inclusive hotels, this place is dwarfed and doesn't come close to the standard that's expected and paid for. I've stayed at top 5* luxury all inclusive hotels and cheap pushing 2* bed and breakfasts. This place is pushing a 3* at best. It's let down by a multitude of basics and it needs to catch up before it falls too far behind its competition. My advice, save your money and go somewhere else.

This was where we stayed with a TUI all inc holiday. The transfer from Naples was well organised. We arrived at the hotel around ten in the evening, check in was quick and smooth. They had salad meals plated up ready for our arrival. The hotel was very clean, room was large with plenty of storage space. A lot of the hotel features seemed dated but well maintained, almost felt nostalgic in certain parts, the bathroom was green marble - quite ornate. The dining facilities were very good, you could eat either indoors or outside, lunch was served outdoors near the pool. The standard of food was very good with plenty of choice. The gardens around the hotel were well maintained. The hotel offered a free coach into Sorrento several times a day, much safer than walking due to the traffic and lack of pavements. Sorrento is pretty spectacular with some amazing views. If you plan on visiting Pompeii do it yourself rather than spend a fortune on a tour. Regular train service (only 5 euros for a return ticket) book your ticket online with audio guide (collect tickets and audio guide at Pompeii train station) discover Pompeii at your pace - it is well worth the effort - though take drinks and food with you it is big and a full day to get around. Overall we loved our holiday, the hotel was very relaxing, not sure it would be great for kids as not much in the way of activities for them, but would recommend the hotel and Sorrento:)

This hotel is in a great position within walking distance of Sorrento main centre, although the hotel offers a free shuttle bus. The gardens are lovely and the majority of the staff are helpful and friendly. The major drawback of this hotel is it’s dated interior and food. For instance our room had mould on the ceiling and the bath plug didn’t drain out efficiently so you stand in dirty water when showering. The buffet style food again was not 4 star compared to other hotels I have stayed at. Starters sometimes comprised of only lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers not the sumptuous promotional photo’s of Antipasto. There are lots of lovely restaurants and coffee bars locally which we went to, so an option if you do not want full board like we had…Overall it was a good hotel, not 4 star compared to other 4 star hotels I have stayed at but ok.

Situated about 20 minutes walk from Sorrento harbour and about 5 minutes walk from the beautiful church of St Agnello. The hotel lies beside the main SS145 coastal road. WARNING: Walking into Sorrento town from the hotel needs to be done with care as there are stretches without footpaths or single person width. This is a seriously busy road full of trucks, coaches and cars with dozens of scooters. You meet people coming the other way and must NEVER step off the pavement without checking behind you. It could be the last thing you ever do. The hotel itself is clearly in a process of slowly updating, with some of the rooms in old italian style, which I like, and others which have been modernised and are also smaller. The facilities were all adequate if quirky. The beds were clean and comfortable. Room service was thorough. All the sink plugs were cleaned and the filters left to show it had been done! Dusty under the beds. (It always is! Even in the best of hotels. Why?) Reception is all marble and modern and the staff welcoming-at check in we were given a chilled fruit drink. Nice touch. Lovely big pool, looked unheated and as it was late october I never used it. The food was generally good with plenty of local vegetable dishes cooked in generous amounts of olive oil and a variety of choices. Evening roasts on several days. Fresh eggs available cooked to order or pre sctambled/fried at breakfast along with ham and cheese, Dutch-style, smokes sausages and italian bacon, fruit juices, pastries toast and cereals.and live music in the evening. Sad note, The pastries were never quite at their best and always tasted like yesterday's All inclusive guests are given a blue wrist band at check in and they fasten it on you there and then with instructions not to remove it. This seemed a bit much.Understandable for a single event but a bit "Stalag" over a whole week. The inclusive bar was a welcome event each night. Overall, I enjoyed it. Take plenty of mosquito repellant and bite ease.

Where to start…. The staff are utterly incredible, so kind and helpful. Can’t do enough for you. The dining staff interacted with our kids and constantly went the extra mile. The hotel itself is not good. I struggle to see this as a 2 star Nevermind 4. The food is truly awful in the hotel, the drinks are average, the plastic glasses are all cracked and a lot leak. There is direct everywhere on the outdoor table cloths, the outdoor area has mould all over the sun lounges and on the fabric roof over the dining area. The soap dispensers in the hotel are all rusty and could quite easily cut you. The rooms are run down, walls are cracked, air cons are out of date. Ours in fact poured with water and flooded the entrance area to our room. Credit to the maintenance man he was up and working on it within 5 mins of me raising it. The bath plug drainage takes ages to clear after a shower. The shower mat has mould under it (all can be seen in the pictures) Like I say if it was not for the staff this could have been possibly one of the most run down hotels we have stayed at. If anyone wishes for more info then please feel to reach out.

Hotel was dated, but staff, in particular some of the waiters were very friendly. While non-vegetarians were provided many varieties of food on the special evenings such as grilled or roasted turkey, fish, calamari, prawns, duck, pork and chicken, vegetarians only got a few extra grilled vegetables. Although we spoke to the head chef, the best we managed to get was another form of pasta with tomato sauce or crepes with spinach. The head chef could not arrange anything like vegetable lasagne or tortellini.

Ok so if you look for something to complain about you will always find fault, yeah the décor is dated and it could use some modernisation but considering we the price we paid I have no complaints. English abroad are typical no willingness to try and learn the local language it's not that difficult to learn a few simple fraises and people complain about the staff being a bit pee'd off at times! The food was a buffet, breakfast was a sea of cake, scrambled egg, boiled egg, bacon, little hotdogs and chopped potato. Lunch was normally Salad, pasta, some sort of meat, pizza and chips. Evening meal was a bit more on Mon, Wed, Fri they have a chef cooking something and then a large buffet. Some nights they have coach trips in so the Buffet becomes very busy. There is a free shuttle bus into Sorrento with MANY restraunts to chose from there are also options to the right just outside the hotel entrance about 2 mins walk tops. Our room had a smaller bathroom with a shower that had a shower curtain, if you didn't grow up in the 80's this will be an experience as you won't know you have to stick the curtain to the wall or you get a wet floor :) Those who know, know! The hotel bar was great, cocktails are really good, a bit too good I probably went back to Sorrento far too many times a couple of nights ! lol Again, try a bit of Italian on the bar staff they will appreciate the effort. All in all, very happy I can't say it's excellent but it's what you make of it, if you are going to have a good time you'll love it, if you like a moan you'll hate it.

The hotel looks good in the main areas and the staff are very friendly but the rooms are dirty and tired. We had several issues with the TV, shower and lights. Food was not good either. Breakfast was always cold and the cooked food was swimming in fat. Evening meal was no different. We arrived late due to flight delays and we're promised a plate of good. However when we got to the dining room there was nothing left. The hotel does put on a shuttle bus to sorrento which saves the walk. I would say the whole hotel needs to have a good clean throughout and attention paid to health and safety be fire someone falls down the stairs due to sticky carpets and no hand rail.

Reading reviews before we went I was a bit apprehensive but there was no need to be. The hotel was lovely. We didn't go all inclusive but had breakfast included which was brilliant. There was so much selection each morning. The hotel is about 20 mins walk from the centre of Sorrento which was fine, but there is also a shuttle bus which is handy. There is also a train station about 700 metres away which can take you into Sorrento or to Pompeii / Naples. The pool area was lovely and the rooms were spacious. There was a weird smell in the corridors but other than that it was a great hotel.

We went as a family last week and absolutely loved this hotel. The food was amazing and included fresh produce like freshly baked Italian foccacia and even a tower or of Parma ham! Fresh fish and meat and plenty of tasty vegetables and fresh pizza and pasta too. The selection of drinks is great and includes a varied cocktail menu. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming a friendly and always made sure we were enjoying our time at the hotel. Great pool and outside area. Comfortable rooms which spatious and had free air con. Great bathrooms and a balcony too. Thw location is ideal. So close to Sorrento and can easily walk or get a shuttle in. The little suburb where the hotel is, so beautiful and some great cafes near by. It was also my brothers 30th birthday while at the hotel and they made him fresh cakes and sang to him and were very accommodating and made his birthday breakfast very special. I can't thank the staff at the hotel enough. Very kind.
