Garni Ariston is an amazing lodge in the heart of the DOLOMITES in the small village of Santa Cristina. The view from our room, the amazing breakfast, and our lovely hostess, Rafaella made our stay one to remember. Another added benefit was the short walk to the ski bus which allowed us to visit several other base areas very conveniently. The nearby grocery store, ski shops, and restaurants made the location perfect. I would highly recommend a visit to Garni Ariston upon your next trip to the Val Gardena area.

My stay at Garni Ariston was perfect. The location is perfect - you can see it as soon as you step off the bus. Rooms were very clean, fresh, clean bathroom. Anything you need during your stay Raffaella or her family are right there to help. Raffaella is an amazing hostess, she provides you with everything you need as soon as you get there (maps, activity guides, bus schedules, etc.). She was also extremely accommodating as I had missed the last bus in Bolzano to S. Cristina my first day and had to cancel my first night last minute. Mind you it was still low season and they weren't really booked up so might not be the same if they are at full capacity.

Breakfast was wonderful, lots of options - meats, cheeses, breads, yogurt things like that.

I would definitely recommend this b&b to those thinking of travelling to val gardena. Raffaella gives you a bus pass that is good for seven days that will allow you to travel between all the towns for free. and each town is a very short distance away, maybe like ten minutes by bus. Wifi also worked well, and there was free public wifi in S. Cristina which was very convenient.

This is a very special family run hotel in the small village of St Christiana. It was a great base for exploring Val Gardena and is much quieter than the other two larger villages in the valley which were a bit too commercial. The room was very large and we had a nice balcony and it was very good value. The area is a hiker's paradise with spectacular views which are hard to beat.

My family and I stayed at Garni Ariston in June 2019 for 2 nights. The rooms are very clean and very tastefully done with a fantastic view of the Sassulongo Peak from the balcony. Breakfast was delicious. The host is very friendly and warm.
There is a supermarket close by and also Cafe Andy where we had delicious sacher torte and coffee. Not very touristy and very peaceful, this place is a great place to stay in St Cristina and also budget friendly. Highly recommend people to choose this place for your stay.

My family and I stayed here during a summer trip through Italy. Our stay was wonderful, and Raffaella is an excellent host.

Our rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed two full bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a compact but complete kitchen on the upper floor.

In the Tyrolean tradition, Raffaella’s father maintains world-class flower boxes around the entire hotel. To top it off, the view of the Sassolungo from our room was beautiful.

Spent a week here, in a spotless, comfortable apartment, with a great view from the balcony. We had a well-equipped kitchen/living area, good sized bathroom and bedroom. Bus stop and tourist info only a two minute walk away, good supermarket five min. walk up the road and a really good bakery opposite the bus stop. There is also a large carpark at the entrance to the back of the hotel.
Our host, Raffaela, was friendly and helpful and ensured we had all we needed.
This is a great area, lots of walks, chairlifts and funivias to the high plains. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

We stayed in the Dolomites for 2 nights and found this B&B great value and great service. The rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast in the morning was superb and it is close to the bus stop and local amenities. The col raiser ski lift is about a 15 minute walk which suited us perfectly as we were hiking rather than skiing but this may be less ideal in winter months without transport.

Located right in the center of Val Gardena in the Dolomites, this B&B is in a small town of St Cristina ... It overlooks the Mtn Sasso Lungo, so cannot complain about the views at all ... The location of this is perfect as it is 5 mins to Ortisie and 5 mins to Selva ... Castlerotto, Compasch, Siusi are all nearby ... This is on the main route through Val Gardena ... the house itself was fantastic ... very large rooms... we had the two bedroom apartment for 4 adults and one child for 3 nights... it was fanstastic ... The rooms were so big that they surprised us ... we have never seen such spacious rooms while traveling in Italy ... It was furnished nicely and simply ... Had two BIG balconies, each from each bedroom both overlooking the mtns ... The kitchennette was adequate to make some quick pasta and sandwiches ... Best thing that even within 2 mins walking distance, there was a supermarket, pharmacie, Tourist Information and a bakery ... We used all these 4 extensively and glad it was all so nearby and convenient ...

We booked a room with Private Bathroom for 3 nights with a Balcony. WOW Room7, great size room with TV wardrobe, draws,Kingsize bed, table & chairs with a small sofa.Bathroom was lovely and clean.Balcony was narrow but long with table & chairs with a line for a wee bit of washing.Host was very friendly and helpful with information and provided a lovely breakfast at 7am with coffee, cereral, cake ,bread - toppings of jam, honey, pate, meats, cheese and she will cook boiled eggs for you if you please.Parking was at the back of the B&B.The rooms windows were double glazed and had electric blinds that when you closed the room was pitch black and silent, fantastic!Do note that some shops do not reopen till July. The town is small but lovely and a great location for day trips.Highly recommend Riffeser Otto for dinner it is a 2 minute walk from B&B German style restraurant large mains dont need entrees! We had Spag bol & Basil/tomato Spag + 2beers 2 coffees 2 Apple studels 34Euro all up.A nice size supermarket in town with a great deli for cheeses and meats and a very well stocked Bakery on the premises. On the Wednesday they had markets in the street right below the B&B, clothes, fruit and vege, meats etc.
Highly recommend this B&B
