Very hospitable hostess and all amenities just as you like them on a skiing trip, centrally located 5 mins off ski piste, bus stop and Spar supermarket. Hostess very accessible for any help or questions.
Great location for ski lovers as you can reach the best ski slopes of the area. Five star cleaning amazing welcome from the owner and very good breakfast. I really recommend this Garni and for sure I will go back there.
My family and I stayed at Garni Ariston in June 2019 for 2 nights. The rooms are very clean and very tastefully done with a fantastic view of the Sassulongo Peak from the balcony. Breakfast was delicious. The host is very friendly and warm. There is a supermarket close by and also Cafe Andy where we had delicious sacher torte and coffee. Not very touristy and very peaceful, this place is a great place to stay in St Cristina and also budget friendly. Highly recommend people to choose this place for your stay.
We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, centrally located hotel in this Bavarian-like village. Raffaella, our host, served a lovely breakfast ( more than coffee and pastries), was helpful with activity options and warm and accommodating. If you like your hotel in clean tip-top shape this place is for you.
We recently spent 4 nights in this B and B and definitely recommend it as a clean and comfortable place to stay. Our room was a reasonable size, with adequate storage space and a good bathroom, and there was a balcony with an amazing view of the mountains. The breakfast was fine, and the owner, Rafaella, was helpful and provided us with useful information. The B and B is conveniently located, two minutes from the tourist information office and there is parking for guests behind the building.
My family and I stayed here during a summer trip through Italy. Our stay was wonderful, and Raffaella is an excellent host. Our rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed two full bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a compact but complete kitchen on the upper floor. In the Tyrolean tradition, Raffaella’s father maintains world-class flower boxes around the entire hotel. To top it off, the view of the Sassolungo from our room was beautiful.
My stay at Garni Ariston was perfect. The location is perfect - you can see it as soon as you step off the bus. Rooms were very clean, fresh, clean bathroom. Anything you need during your stay Raffaella or her family are right there to help. Raffaella is an amazing hostess, she provides you with everything you need as soon as you get there (maps, activity guides, bus schedules, etc.). She was also extremely accommodating as I had missed the last bus in Bolzano to S. Cristina my first day and had to cancel my first night last minute. Mind you it was still low season and they weren't really booked up so might not be the same if they are at full capacity. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of options - meats, cheeses, breads, yogurt things like that. I would definitely recommend this b&b to those thinking of travelling to val gardena. Raffaella gives you a bus pass that is good for seven days that will allow you to travel between all the towns for free. and each town is a very short distance away, maybe like ten minutes by bus. Wifi also worked well, and there was free public wifi in S. Cristina which was very convenient.…
We stayed in this hotel in the first week of March 2015. The hotel is situated in the very center of Santa Cristina, quite near to the ski lift and multiple shops and restaurants. The owner of the hotel Raffaella Nogler is very friendly and speaks many European languages. Our family included great grandparents, grand children and great grand children. We had one room for older members of the family and a large two room apartment with a kitchen for kids and their parents. The ski room provided a heating for ski boots. The breakfast was nice; the rooms have been cleaned regularly. We had enough place for the rented car in the garage and used this car to arrive to the wide skiing area Monte Pana. The Monte Pana area is beautifully equipped for kids and beginners and has 5 lifts of a rising complexity. There are more than ten groups for kids and individual trainers for beginners. An extra high qualification of trainers provides a quick progress in skiing. For more experienced skiers there is a 4-chair lift opening the ways to multiple slopes around picturesque rocks of Dolomites.…
Spent a week here, in a spotless, comfortable apartment, with a great view from the balcony. We had a well-equipped kitchen/living area, good sized bathroom and bedroom. Bus stop and tourist info only a two minute walk away, good supermarket five min. walk up the road and a really good bakery opposite the bus stop. There is also a large carpark at the entrance to the back of the hotel. Our host, Raffaela, was friendly and helpful and ensured we had all we needed. This is a great area, lots of walks, chairlifts and funivias to the high plains. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!
This is a very special family run hotel in the small village of St Christiana. It was a great base for exploring Val Gardena and is much quieter than the other two larger villages in the valley which were a bit too commercial. The room was very large and we had a nice balcony and it was very good value. The area is a hiker's paradise with spectacular views which are hard to beat.
