we ate here with a large group and were impressed with the way the restaurant coped with the numbers both in the food and the service. Really expert Tuscan cuisine and very good wines. A great place to find near to the Cathedral and the Museo Civico.

Four beautiful, well renovated rooms atop this ancient building in the old town. On the first floor is a gracious 19th century restaurant beamed ceiling and chandeliers. The food is marvellous Tuscan cuisine. Rabbit, pigeon, duck plus regulars. Alessia is the fourth generation host, speaks 3 languages. Could not recommend it more strongly.

This place does everything you want it to and at a good price. It represents good value for money. The room was comfortable and quiet. I stayed just one night as was en route south. It made a good bed for the night and it was nice to have a bathtub. The restaurant looked busy and appetising. The accommodation is... More

Stayed two nights. Room was large, clean and comfortable and the bathroom was generous for a retrofitted building several hundred years old. Despite being attached to a very busy restaurant, we were not unduly troubled by noise and the staff was friendly and always helpful. The real star is the restaurant for which I have done a separate review (... More

Beautiful town, lovely room and excellent restaurant. Alex was so welcoming and we found the atmosphere just lovely and relaxed. It was great to be so close to everything.. so close to the bus station and lovely shops. The restaurant was truly fantastic and our dinner was really delicious and reasonable, best house wine we had in Italy. Breakfast also... More

Very nice people having this restaurant. We stopped in Sansepolcro ilate in the evening, we happened to find this nice place, we had a very, very good dinner and nice stay in the pension upstairs and excelent breakfest. The women - owner is very nice person! We wish them many satisfied customers as we were!

I've recently returned from a holiday in a villa on the Umbria Tuscany border (4th time in the last 5 years or so). Ristorante Fiorentina is a strong favourite of mine. On this trip we had 3 meals there; a Saturday lunch with girlfriend, a lunch for 13 assorted (grown up) children and their other halves and a lunch for... More

We stopped overnight in Sansepolcro, but it was a larger than life visit. A very nice little walled city, but the best thing was the hospitality and great food we enjoyed here at Locanda del Giglio. Our room upstairs was a little bit quaint, and a little bit modern, and quite comfortable. The meal we enjoyed in Ristorante Fiorentino was... More

We were disappointed in this property. The owners are focused on their restaurant, which is one floor below. The toilet rooms associated with the restaurant are on the staircase and at the end of the hall. Make sure you dead-lock your door because restaurant patrons walk down between rooms and try your door. Very unnerving. The real issue for us... More

This hotel and restaurant provide everything we want from Italy. The hotel(Locanda) is right in the centre of this pretty, compact town with the art of Piero della Francesca at it's heart. With only four rooms, you have to be quick to book, so it has taken us four years to return after an earlier visit. So we were overwhelmed... More
