We loved our five night stay at the Hotel Alemagna. It is family run, and feels that way. The staff is so friendly, but they do not speak English, so keep translator with you! The breakfast is very extensive and delicious! We stayed in a double room on the very top floor. We started the first two night next to...

Right on main road from Cortina to Venice. Stayed 3 nights, friendly, informal manager, who speaks some English. Great breakfast: stuff to make toasted sandwiches, cereals, fresh bread rolls, fruit juices, as much as you can eat: tea/coffee. Classical style, lots of wood, with modern fittings, which seemed new. A good night's sleep!

Charming little hotel close to Cortina D'Ampezzo, handy location, really nice staff, and some great food if you opt for a dinner in the hotel - do leave some space for it, it is worth it! Thumbs up for Hotel Alemagna!

We (2 oldies) overnighted on our roundtrip by car in Dolomites. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. The room was probably of "normal" standard for a skiing resort. The restorant was amazing good (standard evening menu) and the breakfast was really superb. Our room was quite oldfashion with no fridge or minibar. Not a place for wailers!
